Considering how many surgeries he's had there's no reason not to think that there's some sort of prescription pain medication dependence.

Or there's no dependence and it was an honest mistake.

I just think it's odd that there are still people out there who swear he was drunk.

Why would he ever come out and say alcohol wasn't involved in an official statement the day after when such a thing can be so easily refuted.

His PR people are certainly smarter than that. I have no doubt it was meds.

This I agree with - however it very well may have been a mistake. That doesn't make it any less potentially costly.

In this instance, however, erring on the side of caution after taking pills and not getting behind the wheel of a car is always the best decision.
