that gave me a chuckle!

The LL's destroy the bits of remaining unpredictability that the sets still have. I don't think many of us would complain if the song runs with them looked like:

    JTR
    Granny
    Long Black Veil
    Stay

    But instead they look like

    Rooftop
    You & Me
    Be Yourself
    Everyday

Oh come on. It's neither of those things. Its the fact that many here, including myself, do not think they add anything at all to the music. I'm not saying they are untalented or can't sing; clearly they can. They just don't work with the band, in my opinion of course.

Additionally, if they are out you know you will be getting three or four of a possible seven songs.

I guess I just don't understand that perspective, of having preferences but not wanting them at a show - so the having of opinions but not wanting them expressed, hence my comment. To me it almost defeats the point of having opinions.

For me, my favourite era was the Butch era, probably until 2005 ish. And whenever I see the band, if I could choose to have that era of music over today's, then I would take it every single time. And have them NOT play polka!!!

    Re: Slow things down?

It depends on the song. Rapunzel and Grey St I think really drag when they are slow. I prefer them a little more upbeat and driving. Sped up Granny or DT however sound horrible. I think the "loud wall of sound" is a bigger detractor from the current sound than the tempos.

    Re: Slow things down?

I hear the sped up tempo in most songs now. It's not all Carter's fault though. Boyd plays the notes at the beginning of Two Step faster than he used to. Songs where the difference is discernible to me include Rapunzel, Two Step, Ants, Grey Street, Tripping Billies, and DDTW. It did feel like they slowed some songs back down when they were doing the acoustic sets though.

I think the band should speed their songs up even more.

DDTW needs to be slowed down. I have a hard time listening to it live. The studio cut is phenomenal. LT41 DDTW is awesome as well.

Yea, it's definitely both racist and sexist to not want three people on stage singing fucking pronouns over You & Me.

    Your opinion sucks donkey dick.

The lovely ladies are absolutely horrible. Watching them perform at a dmb show is like watching a train wreck
