Tell me about the PIT.

Never PITted, anywhere, always had reserved seats (but I do stand the entire time).

I hear the PIT at Molson is fairly tame anyways, but what are your experiences.. pushing, shoving, squeezed into a tight spot .. or a 'bit' of room to move and relax (not much, just room to breathe I mean)..?

Lots of room in the Toronto Pit..compared to some other venues. Even if you show up late you can hang back in the Pit, which is still better than any seat.
As you know Canadians are generally civil, ie tame Pit.
Only drawback (unless things change) no beer etc allowed in the Pit.

Or, what if they plan to make it a shorter show, as opposed to the longer show everyone is assuming.
So, still have an opening act, and still perform basically 8pm to 11pm, but with a 20 minute intermission in the middle..?

8pm-11pm with 20 min intermission would be pretty well exactly the same net time as a regular show ie usually starts at 8:20pm-11pm.

Hope you are all doing well with finding tickets and making plans for the upcoming summer tour! In hopes of making the time until the tour pass by faster I wanted to let you all know that TR3 featuring Tim Reynolds will be performing next Monday, February 10, 8:00pm at the Tralf Music Hall in Buffalo, NY. I am fortunate enough to be opening this show and just wanted to post a link with information on the show and where you can get tickets! TR3 puts on an amazing show and it’s definitely an event you should look into. Certainly a good way to get ready for the summer tour!

So - likely been discussed before but.. nothing decent is left for the Amex sale.
But once public sale is open, can it be assumed there are still (better) blocks of seats that will be opened up for sale?

If similar to last year, there will be a few drops of really good seats closer to the show date. Hold your breath and take your chances, or get in early.

I picked up section 202 about 10th row, middle of the aisle a couple weeks before the show. In the same drop there were pits available. Really depends how much work you put in.

Thanks! So it really comes down to gambling. Play the safe route (especially as someone from out of town who has to make a lot of arrangements to make this happen) and get the best of whats available, or take these chances... later on (references intentional).. sigh

Oooh Toronto! I don't know if anyone was at the 2009 show where we essentially rented out the Voodoo Lounge. But that was grand! If you were then I hope to see you again. If you weren't then I can't wait to meet you!
