My guess is they have gotten to big and don't care... the american way as of late for most corporate entities. I hope the city finally gives into the noise complaints and close them down. The Cross Center is Open now, so is Cumberland County Civic Center. Also lots of other's in SoMe who want to open-expand outdoor venues (Thomas Point, Fort Gorges, Maine State Pier, Bug Light, Etc...).

Hey Guys,

First let me say thank you to everyone who came out to the show. I know as a venue we had our problems. I've read everything in this thread and online and in the social media world and I'm compiling it all the present to the higher ups. Thank you for your feedback and I as a fan agree with a lot of what has been criticized.

Second, I'm responsible for managing the Social Media sites associated with Darling's and Waterfront Concerts. We are not too big, we are not a corporate entity, we are a small Maine business with a staff of 6 and we all take everything everyone says very seriously. It's our general policy not to engage people through social media. If there are problems we urge people to email us through our info@waterfrontconcerts.com email (and yes I mange that too, so if you haven't gotten a response I apologize I'm trying to get through everything).


Again thank you to everyone that came out, hopefully we'll be able to have you all back again and be able to make it up to you.

Yea I saw one on the barricade stage right with his rig right at the speakers.

Seeing DMB in Bangor was like losing your virginity in the backseat of your dad's car. Sure the venue had its problems, I'm sure they will work it out, but you still got to see freakin' DMB in your home state.

Hey Poktrokt, I thought it was a great time, flow issues and such I assume are a giant learning curve every show. You guys are doing a bang up job, you never hear the positives those who complain are always louder. I appreciate the efforts to bring large scale shows closer north. We call that our poser level. Basically its reserved for promotional giveaways, tour people or staff. Yea it's a pretty crazy seat. I meant to check it out but never left the pit area.

I gave it the el cheapo framejob for now, not sure I love the poster enough for a real framejob, but it is better then the tube.
