it is profoundly hilarious to me that it is been 14 years since i've truely appreciated a body of studio work from this band (enough time for a rationale person to have lost interest in a band) - and yet, i'm still refreshing this page ever 3 minutes like a giddy school-girl... i'm overflowing with anticipation. Why? i don't know. it's like we were all stung by the same bug somewhere in our history.

Just read the first email I received about Big Whiskey, and it was received Mon, Dec 15, 2008 at 8:39 PM...so who knows? All the Tuesday / Thursday speculation I feel is just shots in the dark.

Who knows at this point, I'm basing that afternoon time off most of the "news" emails we get from them. Really hoping we at least get a release date. Also, I'd think they would want the single to drop near the start of the tour from a business perspective.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we not only got an email while they were still in the studio for BW, but also got a video which included the beginning few seconds of the album. It doesn't matter that the album isn't done.
