I think I am going to pass on the VIP parking this year. It didn't seem to be much of a benefit.

Yah, the only time I've ever had any problems was when we took my 20 year old cousin with us and the cops IDed him. They just made him pour out the beer and go into the show early though, so no real problems.

We're looking forward to it. I'm ready for it to be here though because wedding planning is insane.

Something I nopticed, in past years this has been one the venues without a pit, but the WH ticketing page lists it as having one this year.

I noticed that too. I'm hoping it's a mistake but I dunno. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I would be surprised if they have a PIT at pine knob but I am sure they can work it out. I would be disappointed because I am sure that will back us up even more, thought I MIT go for. PIT is year.

My seniority sucks, so I think that instead of requesting Pit from the WH and possibly getting declined and stuck with bad seats, I'll just wait for the Citi Presale and grab a pair then.

I like the Pit because it guarantees the people the right in front of the band will be standing, but I totally agree about the VIP. Complete cash grab.

But I think fun in the pit totally depends on who else is in there, I don't want to be surrounded by dummies. I thought they've had a pit here before but maybe I'm mistaking. Agreed on VIP...

The positive side, the pit is small compared to other venues so it shouldn't back up the senior people too much.

There were bolted down seats last year, I can't believe they are removing them. However, I see Bethel still has no Pit, so maybe they really did get rid of those seats. It will be one of the smallest pits on the tour.

Th epit seats aren't bolted down they are inter connected folding chairs. I was just in the Pit in August for the Mraz show

Yeah they weren't bolted down. I sat in the pit in 2010. They are folding chairs that were connected.

So how was it for the Marz concert?? They have NEVER doen this in the past for any DMB show there. I am worried I had first row last year, folding chairs, in front of stage, now it seems those seats are gone!

Like I said the positive side is there is only 5 rows in the pit. So it won't be drastic. I'm trying to take the positive look on it.

The show was great, there are some similiar shows on the archieve if you like Mraz. The chairs were there so it was fine in terms of space. I worry when they are gone. If I remember correctly, there isn't a rail like at other venues so the front row of real seats will also be in the pit. That will leave room for seats jumpers. I don't think the staff will be able to handle it very well.

Thats my point! Why are they messing with a good thing?

Pine Knob has always had great shows with great seating/crowd control, why f it up!

Too bad about the pit! I had second row last year and jumped some seats at the end to get in front row (2 people left after the second encore song). Can you believe it? I got a drumstick from Carter, a guitar pick from Stefan and shook Dave's hand at the end of the concert. Priceless.

Per Warehouse e-mail to me, "yes, there will be a very small three row pit this year."

Yep, I had that front row last year, my seats are fucking are gone now for this show.

Warehouse and Pine Knob's decision for a a pit there!!

It doesn't matter to me whether or not there's a pit, my dad only does warehouse like every other year, so I have never have a chance of sitting up there.

First thing I do when they send out the emails or post it on the WH site is check the dates to see if I was there. The sound from the tapers pull that night was still pretty good but will still be cool to hear it.

A little strange that they released a song that was on the 07 sampler. I like that Tripping Billies but we don't need it again.
