In regards to the PIT, other than it being overcrowded, do they distribute wristbands? Do you get the wristband at will call or do you get your ticket at will call, get into the venue, then get a wrist band. If that is the case do they check ID when you get a wrist band?

Basically I have a single PIT ticket (from LiveNation) and want to know if I can get rid of it or if I have to be the one to get in.

You get your tickets at the Will Call (with ID and the CC you bought them with), then once in the venue you get your wrist band, they either stamp or sharpie marker your ticket so that you cannot pass it off to someone else to get another wrist band. Never had them recheck my credentials for the wrist band as it would create a mess just as bad as the will call is each year.

Has anyone ever stayed in the Camden/Philly area for a 2-night run? I'm considering staying in a hotel somewhere to avoid driving 1.5 hours each way both nights.

Any recommendations?

Also, if staying somewhere nearby, are there any public transportation methods available for getting to the show?

You could either take the Ferry across or Patco. (which goes across the Ben Franklin Bridge)

i live in center city and take PATCO every year. tried the ferry once several years ago and it sucked. takes forever and the line to go back after the show is ridiculous.

Cool. If taking the PATCO across the bridge, is there a stop nearby to the concert area? I know some of the neighborhoods around the venue are pretty sketchy...wouldn't want to walk through them for very long.

this is the first stop in Camden. (http://goo.gl/maps/wFqBi) Doesn't look like a far walk and I'm sure you'd be with a bunch of people making the same trek.

we get off at the 2nd stop (Broadway). from there, it's a 10 min walk straight down MLK Blvd.

Camden's shitty, but you are correct, there will be many others doing the same thing so no worries.

Absolutely agree with this. The wife and I always take PATCO now. We get off at broadway, and sometimes take the riverline trolley to the venue, but always walk back. There are cops along the route and groups of people walking.

As with anywhere else, just pay attention to your surroundings

Not sure if its been mentioned, because I'm too damn lazy to check, but N1 the 28th marks 5 years to the day of Roi's last show (6/28/08 Bristow, which is a Live Trax). Hoping the band realizes and plays a little #34.

If anybody is looking for a decent pair for N2, there are two singles in 104 N & P that are right next to one another (both are seat 15) on LN. Not perfect, but still pretty decent.

anyone know if the lower sections start with row A, or do they start a few rows back (like row g or h because of the pit).

Starts with A pretty sure. Check out the interactive seat map on LN for N2.

They give you 200 level seats because they know they can sell pit (look DMBzilla, no all caps!) and 100 levels at on-sale. Whereas if you look on Livenation right now there are still seats available in the 200s. (granted right now they're mostly singles but last week there were plenty of seats next to each other available)

If you're not in the 100 levels at Camden you might as well be on the lawn.
