Some legit taper equipment towards the extreme right on the floor. Saw a roughly 12 foot pole with a mic on it. We were dead center 10 heads back.
Very impressed with the show. A bit surprised that back to back covers opened it. Very much a throwback jam night and had an old school vibe going throughout....Kept waiting for SMLAM or Seven or You and me to come and destroy it but....no. Low points were YMDT and sister. Wish that the entire band would have stayed onstage for Grace but I was happy to cross that one off the list anyways. The band, and especially Dave seemed very on point and having a blast. Love that he acknowledged the group yelling "Can't feel my face" right next to us. Had a couple of debbie downers on my other side acting cross with each other and basically everyone in the vicinity, so had to move away from the negativity. Had a great drunken conversation with this bearded behemoth of a man named "Brock", who ended up getting a stick! Good catch Brock!
And thanks all for the local advice on things to do. Ended up going to great waters brewery (right by St. Paul hotel, where we stayed) and Prairie dogs hotdogs (seriously fucking amazing). Also hit Cheap-o before heading south towards home and spent WAYYYYYY too much on Vinyl but got awesome copies of Electric Ladyland, Morrison hotel, Strange days, Led Zeppelin II and The Beatles Rubber Soul.
See everyone at the Creek!!!!
