defunct songs.

I have been a die hard as long as i can remember, and i guess I just want to express that I wish they'd play #36, sugar will, crazy-easy, and long black veil again. amongst many others. i just don't understand why they never play any of these songs anymore. I know everyday has become everyday(#36) but its not the same. i want my carter drum solo intro, and dave to skitscat over parts etc... if i were ever at a show where they played 36 and sugar will, i'd be elated.

Sugar Will. What a great song. Joyride was my other favorite from 04. While I do actually love Everyday, I wish there was more of a 36 feel. Namely, the Carter intro.

The mentioned songs are all pretty great but can we please get a "real" Blue Water????

I'm with you but unfortunately I think it's as real as it's going to be. He put it on the setlist, after all.

#36 has always been my favorite DMB song. I can tolerate everyday to a certain degree, but you're right it's just not the same. If they play #36 at a concert now, I'm pretty sure I would start crying haha but as long as everyday is around, that ain't happening.

LBV was played last year or year before at JPJ in C'Ville....also in 08 in Chicago and 06 with Warren.

The others, however, are SO incredible. It's a shame songs get shelved and go by the wayside (I'll Back You Up, Cry Freedom, Lover Lay Down, Last Stop, Dreaming Tree, etc....) that are SO amazing, yet crap like Jimi, Cornbread and so on are beat to death.

Well, Long Black Veil has been done. Maybe Jones Beach will get Crazy Easy or Sugar Will....

Mansfield got Long Black Veil this year. Sugar Will and Crazy-Easy can't come soon enough.
