Man, they have really turned it up since the middle of July, huh? To state the obvious, no Ladies gives them much more flexibility. As much as I dislike Y&M, seeing it pop up in the acoustic instead of with the LL is a 0, not a -1 for me. Even things like throwing Crush in to open the electric set for N1 or Cornbread acoustic go a long way for me. At least it's showing some more creativity and keeping us (well me at least) on our toes.

!! wondering about the reprise now ; they must have figured it out/added it to the encore before playing the acoustic set? it has been since July 10 2012 that the reprise has been played with the song played earlier and since 2013 that the reprise was played separately (also in the encore section) : )

i'm checking the almanac and it looks like this is the first time any part of the song was played in an encore along with Pantala and Rapunzel which is a very inspiring thing, as they go really well together!

The shows this week are encouraging, but they go on runs like this all the time when they play a week of strong shows. When they play 2 consecutive months of shows like this, they'll have my attention.

Yep this seems to happen every year.... a string of a couple weeks of awesome shows. This year it has been the last 2 weeks of US shows starting with Deer Creek. The willingness to really mix up sets has set this part of the tour apart from the rest.

Pig didn't sound that much different in Alpine. Tampa is a good example of what I'm talking about.

Since we have a little time, I'd like to ask a question of this thread audience specifically. For the folks who don't care for Grey Street in its current form, maybe giving it a 0 or a -1 today, would you please point me to a version or two of Grey Street that would warrant a +1 in your books?

I was listening to Live Trax 16 today (6/26/00) from when the song was in its live performance infancy (fifth time played) and it inspired me to ask y'all for a standout version with maybe better structured lyrics than the LT16 version but before the truncation and tempo issues that seem to make the song a negative to some today.
