To be fair, I thought there were some cheesy parts in Star Trek as well. But, the movie is a precise 1 billion times better than Transformers.

Dude, you said it. Everyone in here saying, "just cuz it's a summer blockbuster what did you expect??" I expected Iron Man, Star Trek, TDK, etc etc great summer movies etc. Anyone who actually enjoyed this, I have to question their sanity/judgement on anything in life.
