it's been what, like 11 years since they've been to Oregon? Bend is a mere 4 hours from me, so I'll be trekking there and back in one day! Who's with me!?

2 hours from me. May be making the trip if I can...will have a 3 month old newborn. Anyone ever been to this amphitheater before? It looks tiny and maybe only a few hundred reserved seats? It is an uncovered venue, essentially a stage in a grassy field.

I didn't realize they've played here before! Does everyone feel pretty good that it's a legit date? I can't wrap my head around them coming to our small town in the middle of nowhere!

They've never played in Bend before. They've played Portland multiple times and Salem once in 1995. Yes the date is legit.

No slope to the grass. There has to be modifications to that site before any major concert is held there. Look how high the fence is.

Has anyone ever been here? From what I can find it is a 8k capacity with all GA. Looks like the biggest person to ever play there is John Mellencamp 3 or so years ago? I am intrigued.

Being a bend resident this is fucking epic! This reminds me of seeing him at the kokua festival. Small venues can work. Stoked about this even if there is only a small chance it is true.

So my plan for now is to fly into Seattle on Monday, then drive to Portland. Spend the night in Portland then get up and hit the show in Bend.

After the show, get up and drive to Seattle. Spend the night in Seattle, then get up and drive to Gorge.

Seattle would be way out of the way. Drive due North to the Gorge Wednesday and spend the night at Cave B Inn for $175 (or Ellensburg for less). Then to camping on Thursday.

I want to visit Seattle. I've done Gorge twice, but have never been able to see any of Seattle. We always just fly in Thursday morning and immediately book it to Gorge.

Being from Texas, drives don't really phase me.

Tickets for this show shouldn't be a problem, yea? I know it's a small venue, but it's mid week in the middle of nowhere.

I'm betting few, if any, Warehouse declines. And TM/LN should be pretty easy too...probably a huge Tampa/Orange Beach sized pit.

I think I'll request this one, Gorge 3-Day lawn pass (really hope they do this again), and Woodlands.

Will do Dallas, but won't be requesting it. WH seats screw me there, and that pit is big enough to score via Citi or the public sale fairly easily.
