First time getting tickets via warehouse. Have a question

I hope this is the right place for this post and I apologize if it isn't. I joined the warehouse at the beginning of the year and requested tickets for the first time. I requested tickets for the Atlanta show and requested pit. I was confirmed $75 reserved seating tickets and I was wondering where I should generally expect to be sitting. Should I expect to have seats pretty close to the stage? Or towards the back of the reserved seating section? I know this is a pretty broad question, I'm just curious, anxious, and excited about the show. Any knowledge on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

$75 Is back pavilion. And then rows are based on senority in the section. So you're probably towards the middle/back third of the section.

Seat locations are chosen at random for one night shows, and for two night stands, the second night is based on seniority. So, generally it's a crap shoot, you might have really good seats, or you might have seats in the last row of the venue.

Did Atlanta have tiered seat pricing? Was there an upper reserved, and a lower reserved seating?

Occasionally one-night stands are done randomly as well when it comes to seating assignments. Got 101 Row X last summer at Virginia Beach with my Feb. '09 account, almost positive I would've been somewhere in the 200s if seniority was applied.

No, one-off shows are seated by seniority

after you factor in tiers, pit, premium, etc

Other way around; seat locations for one night shows have been done by seniority for the past 8+ years. One night of a two night stand have been done "randomly".

If you just joined then your seats will be in the back of the uppers for Atlanta due to seniority.

    GA PIT STANDING: $85.00
    RESERVED SEATING:
    Secs 101-103 $85.00
    Secs 201-207 $75.00

Re: First time getting tickets via warehouse. Have a question

Straight from the warehouse ticketing guidelines this year:

    WAREHOUSE TICKETING OVERVIEW

In Warehouse ticketing, two processes determine the selection of members' orders to qualify for a ticket.

    1. The first process is a random selection and all members regardless of membership year standing have an equal chance of being confirmed for tickets.

    2. The second process allocates orders to the available seats. All qualifying orders entered into the seat allocation process will be sorted by one of two methods:
    - Utilizing the seniority system by each membership year to determine seat assignments

    - Utilizing random selection to determine the order of seat assignments

Warehouse Ticketing reserves the right to choose, and to not disclose, which method of seat selection is used for each event.

yeah, they've had that every year, and when seat confirmations come out, every year, they say that all shows's seat locations were determined by seniority, with the exception of the first night of multi-night stands.

Re: First time getting tickets via warehouse. Have a question

I think they're full of crap regardless. 17 year members such as myself manage to get hosed on two night stands anyway. Seniority doesn't exist anymore. if it does explain how N1 of Deer Creek last year I was about 4 rows from the middle walkway (high up in the lower seats) and N2 off to the right 20-25 rows up. The only thing WH is convenient now is for the little shows that no one goes to - Little Rock, Des Moines, Southaven, etc. Johnny Raincloud sends his regards.

I guess I also like my WH discs each year too, but by and large the membership is just a way to get tickets before the public sale.

Seat Locations were posted the first week of March last year... guessing it'll be close to the same date this year.
