I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for Phish last year. There is a bridge directly behind the hotel that leads to the parking lot.

It was perfect.

If you're looking at the Holiday inn express from the street. The Fairfield Inn is pretty close 3 buildings down to the right. so maybe a couple blocks away. the edge of the Venues parking lot is less than a quarter mile behind the fairfield

My fiancé and I are staying at a B&B in Birmingham for the shows. Neither of us have done that before so it'll be interesting. I can't wait for this trip.

Wanna go...but NOLA is closer for me...even tho i have a free place to stay in Bham... Guess i will wait for the music line up dates to be announced in the a.m. For Jazzfest...... If he' s in Pelham the same weekend as Jazzfest, i wont be able to swing it, but....if he plays the second weekend of Jazzfest (first weekend of May) then, I'll do both! Yay to the yayness! Back in Alabama! Hangout fest was great!

I'm going to give WH one more shot this year with this spring/summer tour. If I get too many uppers again or lawn seats it'll be the last tour I use them.

I'm coming from Knoxville as well. There is no lawn, just three tiers of seating. Holds close to 11,000. It's a really cool place to catch a show.

Im really not sure. Im gonna try my luck with WH and if I end up bad seats try ticket master.
