So awesome to see the boxing gloves in Arrow. He used these a lot in the comics. Really cool to see an Arsenal name drop in the end when Roy was fighting Isaac - "Just another weapon in his Arsenal". Also, The Wild Cat story is pretty consistent with the comics, he was an old school vigilante before he started training people.

Really cool to see Cupid in the show. She was in the Green Arrow & Black Canary comics - she was in love with Arrow and hated Canary.

Definitely enjoyed the episode last night. The glove shot was so great. Laurel's face continues to be an enigma. She looked really great last night, but she has been wonderfully inconsistent in terms of her looks the last season and a half.

Awesome episode.

They’re using the name “Arsenal” now in the show to describe Roy, fantastic. Glad these names are actually being used.

I guess we know now that the Atom is indeed coming. The Queen logo now has an atom in it, and the the exosuit at the end of the show looks a lot like the one in the New 52.

Caught up on Arrow this weekend along with Flash. Arrow remains consistently good. Not enjoying the flashbacks as much this year, but they're OK. My favorite character right now is by far Ray Palmer. Brandon Routh is absolutely nailing the role. Very excited to see him suit up at some point. Maybe this has been discussed, but it's looking to me like they're setting things up for some version of the Justice League.

I know they said Metropolis and Gotham were off limits in the Areow/Flash universe - so they could do it without Batman. They could, I suppose, bring in Aquaman and Martian Manhunter as well as Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. Since the TVverse is separate from the Movieverse, they could just cast separate characters for a new TV League.

While they have made references to Coast City, I'm not too confident they'll be bringing in anyone like Green Lantern. I also don't see them bringing in Wonder Woman. I'm just thinking they may do their own version of the Justice League, or maybe do the Justice Society of America. I was going to say a lot of them were in the JSA, but it looks like the only characters in JSA that have appeared on the shows is Black Canary, Wildcat and the original Flash (which is really not like Barry Allen's Flash).

I really enjoyed the crossover episode. Really cool stuff. It was neat how when Arrow appeared on Flash they used his music, and when Flash appeared on Arrow they used his music.

It was neat to hear them talk about Boomerang and Task Force X/Suicide Squad.

As far as what to read, I really enjoyed Quiver - the Kevin Smith run. I also really enjoyed Into The Woods.

But New 52 is good as well.

wow. This show is just so good. Ray Palmer is quickly becoming my favorite character and I can't wait to see how he progresses into The Atom. Still interested to see how they pull that off without it looking too silly.

Chad, that's got to be what happens. I just don't see any other way. Wow...that was just awesome.

Holy smokes, this show just keeps getting better! Last nights episode was one of the best I've seen. The acting and action just keeps getting better. Even Laurel is good. Wish Flash were this good.

Agreed on both points. I was thinking last week how badass Arsenal was in that episode. Really looking forward to tonight's episode. This cast has really found their groove and are just nailing it lately.

Yeah, I saw that. Looks great. I don't agree with the Iron Man comparisons at all, it's much more of body armor rather than a full suit, as you can see spaces between the padding and he's vulnerable in certain areas. I mean, after a while it's hard to design costumes for similar characters so they don't all seem the same (look at Ant-Man's costume: http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.../02/antman.jpg), and we also have to understand this is the CW. It looks pretty good considering their budget.

I wish they would have kept Oliver "dead" a little longer. Seemed pretty unrealistic given the mid-season finale that he'd be back on his feet within an episode or two.

It would have been cool if they utilized the Lazarus Pit. I mean he was stabbed pretty good and then that fall was a long one.

Yeah, and for anyone familiar with the Lazarus Pit from the comics or Batman video games, it messes with a person's mind and they gradually degrade in their humanity every time they emerge from a dip. It would have been a really interesting take on Oliver to become a little grittier and possibly kill again after he had reformed himself from season 1 up to this point.

I didn't realize that about the Lazarus Pit. That definitely would have been an interesting twist on things.

I thought last nights episode was somewhat underwhelming after last week's. The episode reaffirmed that it would have been better to make Oliver's return later. Maybe even a little closer to the end of the season. It just felt forced. And while this is a show based on a comic book character, it just seems so unbelievable that he could be back on his feet that fast. He was stabbed through the chest and then dropped off a 100 ft. cliff, and two episodes later he's back on his feet? Just found that a little lame.

His actual return was kind of lame too. The way they did it was pretty much exactly how I figured they would. Arrow is shot out of nowhere and they realize Oliver is back. But for some reason it just didn't play out well and didn't come across very powerful. I almost missed it actually. It happened really quick. It just felt like it could have been more dramatic. Last week's episode was so fantastic so I guess I was expecting a bit more.

These shows have got to get rid of the cheesy dialogue. Lines like, "Brick-head" are just SO bad. When Cin said that I cringed and laughed at the same time. I hate her character.
