Fast and Furious 6 is on, why on earth do you like these awful movies Rozz? Im all for fantasy in movie stunts, but these reach a stupid level of unrealistic ridiculousness.

There's an entire difference between something based on fantasy/magic/whatever, and FF movies where it's "real" until Vin Diesel is diving across a gap over a bridge and tackling a girl into a windshield with them both surviving unscathed.

That's the thing. Those movies aren't going for "real" or at least haven't been for 3 movies now. You guys realize that the F&F movies going over the top and doing ridiculous things are tongue in cheek while they do it right? The most recent 3 have been over the top, absurd and very fun movies.

In Furious 7, when Vin Diesel & Jason Statham face off on top of a parking garage with tire irons and a greek chorus-esque score plays while they approach each other...do you really think everyone there is taking it serious?

Fast Five is the meathead version of Ocean's 11
Furious 6 is a superhero movie with cars
Furious 7 is a meathead version Mission: Impossible

They just tend to put the action above all else. They're fun, action fantasy movies. Honest.

Suck is an opinion. If you like meathead movies I guess they are up your alley. If you think they're too over the top. Then they aren't for you. I thought the first one was garbage so I have not really worried about following the series.

Looks like odd numbered Craig movies are where it's at...so the next one should be money, right?

The first one is honestly one the lesser films. 4 is the worst easily. And I'm a weirdo that thinks 2 Fast 2 Furious is more enjoyable than the first. It's better directed, better car stunts/chases and it's so stupid (and I think kinda knows it is) that it's incredibly silly and funny

I think it was probably a bit better than Quantum? Havent watched that one in a while.

Bautista was almost a Jaws throwback hahaha. Actually that was part of my issue with the movie, I felt like they almost forced the throwback elements at times.

I was disappointed with Waltz. I love his acting, and thought he would make an awesome baddie, and he was sometimes, but he got a little too monologue-y at times, even for a Bond villain.

My brother and I also laughed at the "all these guys are connected, but were not really actually ever gonna explain how all these guys are connected" part of the plot.

And I was bummed they wasted the Austria location with no Bond ski scene. I love Bond ski scenes!

Overall like I said, not the worst Bond by far, but not my favorite either. Honestly theres only been a handful of truly terrible Bond movies...

I cant stand the last Brosnan one, Die Another Day.

Not a huge fan of either of the Dalton Bond movies either.

I guess my issue with it is, even in the case of like Bond, hes almost a superhero. You expect the fantasy stunts and absurdity.

With FF, I feel like its real, right up till its not. Maybe Im just watching with the wrong mindset.
