Are you planning on getting in line early? Or tailgating? I want to be close but also want to just enjoy the day...have been dreaming of getting rail someday though!! Even if you're back row of pit for this show you'll be closer than you could ever imagine. This is such a tiny venue. No joke - the back of the lawn is the back of most amphitheaters pavilion section.

I'm tailgating! One of favorite part of the show is the tailgate seen. I like talking about the show and listening to dmb in the lots so I can get pumped for the show. Also having a bite too eat befor the show is super fun. Like widespread mule said the pit is small so no bad seats. But if you must be in the first row get in line when they open the gates.

Went with the Lower Reserved for Instants instead of the Pit.Section 4 row E 2nd from the inside isle so i think it worked out. Likely will stay at the nearby bar across from the venue, forgot what it is called now but when it used to be Big League i knew before concerts sometimes they would have the parking lot blocked off and beer stand out there. Sometimes they even had contests and stuff. I fly in for work a lot but havent been out to that bar during a concert night since Brad Paisley a few years ago. Does anyone know if they still have this type of setup? I think it's called the filling station now.

I have 2 pits sitting at my front door now; if they aren't golden tickets they're for sale if anyone needs them.

There's lots of grass parking close to the venue, very easy to get in and get out. We didn't tailgate last time at this venue, we went right in - but it's set up pretty well for tailgating.

After that Letterman performance my opinion of this show/tour has completely changed. So ready for this show! Thinking it might actually be really good!

I'm really excited as well. Not the best set list tonight but what elce can you expect. There not going to bust out spoon or last stop for an event like that. I thought the performences were good. IMO grey street was slowed down a bit still not where it should be. Boyd looked happy tonight sometimes he looks depressed and out of it. So that could be a good sign. I like that they played ditch. I like when they bust ditch out I would love to see that in Heavy rotation this summer would work well as an E1. As far as the new song goes I like the music I still think the lyrics are weak. I know southaven will likely get black and blue bird so I'm going to listen to it as many times as I can so I fimilar my self with it. Like I said should be a wonderful time in two weeks.

I got nervous when they started with seven...but was really happy with the setlist overall. I like the new song. I feel like there's too many instruments going on at some points but I imagine they're still experimenting with it. I enjoyed it. Was happy they played ditch and ended with granny! I think we're in for a treat!!! Can't wait!

So has anyone actually figured out how pit is goin to work at snowden grove? I've never heard of them having a pit and having been there several times since I live in memphis, I don't see how they could do a pit without taking seats out or not having a 10-15 ft gap between the stage and railing

Take seats out, or actually, don't put the seats down in that space in the first place...same way all venues do it

It looks like they're taking out all the double letter rows in front. If you look at the seating chart on ticketmaster the pit goes back through row A and seats start at row B..

Wishing I was traveling back home to visit the family again for this one. Nice thing is, you're basically guaranteed a better show than 2013.

Hope the weather is better! That weird circular wind played a big part in making 2013 worse. Boyd would be really loud, then you wouldn't hear him, then loud again. Outside of the weather that day, I liked the venue.

The tailgate seemed pretty laid back in '13. Everyone was drinking, and I didn't even really see the cops watching. You never know when it comes to MS or AL, though. Worst cops/laws in the country. AL especially.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the vibe of the tailgate the last time around, so I hope it's similar this time.

Everyone was drinking openly, playing baggo, hanging out in the grassy areas under the trees...it was cool.

Some folks I've gotten to know since then were in the lots a little further away, and thought it was pretty lame, so maybe it just depends on where you end up/when you get there.

I'm starting to get a little excited. Hope the boys have a little new album/early tour energy for us.

Not even mad about the drive over from Rogers. Just happy to have a couple of mid-south DMB shows for a change. See y'all out there.

I've been debating selling my seat and getting a pit ticket. I have one friend from town going and I was thinking about trying to get in pit with her. But to have a seat for when they inevitably play something terrible is really calling me.

This really is a great venue. Very personal and there isn't a bad seat in the house. I was there for the last DMB show and the Widespread Panic concert later that year. Tailgating is a must for this venue. They have some great spots on the left side of the venue. I'm down to do some tailgating before the show if anyone has a set up. Otherwise, we'll be drinking by our vehicles. The field for tailgating is in the northwest portion of this picture....
