i remember almost running out of tape on 7/9/2000 because it went about 3 hours and 2 minutes from when they took the stage to when the show ended

some of the 2003 dave and tim shows were about 3.5 hours from start to finish

also everday wasnt on the setlist it was played cuz of the crowd singing. so if everyday wasnt played lucca would have been 2 hr 47 min and thats with the double encore.

UPDATE: Lucca, Italy now takes the top spot with total song time of 2 hours, 54 minutes from this summer's European tour. Alpine N1 drops to second place but Alpine N2 from this year debuts at #3 on the list. The rest of the list is below.

Random notes:
- Longest show, including D&F and D&T is Dave & Friends - 1.16.04 - 3 hours, 1 minute with other shows from the D&F tour right behind it.

- Longest D&T show I found was 3.29.03 - 2 hours, 48 minutes.

- Weird that two of DMB's longest shows took place on the same day.

- Alpine is tops on the list with having three of the longest shows we know of.

- Of course this list cannot be deemed 100% correct as there are still a ton of early shows that we do not have recordings of. This is as correct as we'll ever get, I think.

- Thanks to the DMB Almanac. If I missed a show, sue me.

Just to put it perspective...DMB started playing a lot longer shows in the last 3-4 tours. 2:45 was pretty standard at one point during the two sets

Pretty sure -- off the top of my head the top couple are

Alpine N1 2015 -- 3 hours 5 minutes 25 seconds
Alpine N2 2016 -- 3 hours 39 seconds
Alpine N2 2012 -- 3 hours 2 minutes 45 seconds

those are the three longest I've seen. All over three hours. Not sure if there are any others over 3. Gorge N3 this year got close

a lot of 2014-15 got into the 2:50 range. Less than you'd think though. A surprising amount of those shows really didnt get anywhere past 2:30

N3 at the Gorge last year was just shy of three hours. Lisbon last year was close, too. Both at 2 hours, 57 minutes.

The longest show in 2014 was Oklahoma at 2 hours, 53 minutes, 12 seconds.

Will be interesting to see where WPB N2 2019 ranks once song times are up on alamanac. They played until 11:25PM.

I wonder where JPJ 11/20/2010 falls. That encore was magical! The crowd chanting for another song and the band happily obliging was unforgettable. I would have expected it to at least show up as a top 20 of the longest shows they’ve played.
