I'm confused on why you'll miss?! The baby comes the 29th...the shows are potentially the 1st and 2nd... :-/

Oh shit! Is this already starting?!

ISO: 6 pit passes with VIP parking. Willing to trade 4 lawns, a half case of warm Busch Light, weed so bad it will give you a migraine, and a poster from last years show at Deer Creek.

No cash, trades only, do the right thing and help a friend out!

Like others I am starting to look into my options for a place to sleep this weekend. Camped at McIntyre's last year, enjoyed it. I am open to other options though. I have heard about Snug Harbor which is just up the road. Looking for any opinions or experience on Snug Harbor. Atmosphere? Good amount of fans stay there? How strict are they on pre and post show gatherings?(curfew enforced?)

Thinking about taking a day trip up to Alpine for some snowboarding in the next week or two. Mainly to tune up for Colorado in a month but also to go past the venue and reminisce about how we will all be there in 6 months in 90 degree heat ready to party our faces off for two of the best days of the summer!

I'd say let's plan it out and commit but working in the restaurant industry it's tough. You guys will want to go in a Saturday and I'll want to go in a Wednesday. Haha!

That being said, if weekdays work for you or anyone else and you guys want to make it a group let's make it happen! I have new boots and bindings I want to break in before my trip.

I know you said weekday (which I completely get. I worked in the restaurant industry for years), but how much fun would it be to do an off season DMB ski weekend! It might be too late this year to put something together, but we should totally do this in the future.

I'm definitely down for a trip! I probably couldn't swing an entire weekend but could probably do a Saturday like the first week of February...? Alpine is about an hour and a half drive for me.

No real complaints about McIntyre's. The staff was very friendly. The place had a good feel to it.

Very affordable. If I remember right I think it was $10/person/night. Your spots are first come first serve, and the size of your area depends on how you set up. They did run a shuttle to the shows which were $20/person round-trip if I remember correctly.

They sell small snacks and sometimes a lunch or dinner item out front of the main building. I think they had pizza and bbq pork sandwiches along with other snacks, bottled water.

Bathrooms are port-o-potties and outhouses. The "showers" are a pop-up tent with a hose.

Overall, a good cheap place to stay. Everybody there is a concert goer, and they let you have some fun before and after shows. It's also right on the lake so you can fish or swim too.

Wanted to chime in on the attendance numbers thing for last year's concert. There was a large country music festival(country thunder) literally 20-30 minutes from alpine the nights DMB was in town. It tends to pull a lot of the drunk idiot crowd that just likes to get wasted and throw up on yur shoes.

This would also explain why he sheer number of drunk idiot bruhs seemed to be way down this year. Just saying its a plausible reason why ticket sales were down.

Additionally this was the weekend before Lollapalooza so you have tens of thousands of people who were going to go hard the following week and may not have been able to do both weekends back to back from a time or money standpoint.

    Just some thoughts.

Does anyone ever stay in lake Geneva ? It's 20 -30 minutes there are some hotels there and a cool downtown area with bars and restaurants for pre and post. Also you go right passed a Walmart and decent liquor store i. Your way out of town.

Lake Geneva is big old money. Honestly, pick a hotel/campground close to the venue and find/come with a great group of people. Not that Lake Geneva isn't a great time but it may not be what you're looking for.

Being a Chicago boy and, hopefully, having some east coast SPAC'ers to entertain for the weekend, believe me when I say things are going to get rowdy. Pack your big girl panties and be ready to sleep Sunday!

I like facing the venue. 3 years ago we faced the hill, it was nice but felt like missing the party. Although the set up the group below had was on point.

Andrew, can't believe that was 3 years ago lol.

Watching N1 from last year right now and have to admit that half paying attention at work, Be Yourself really ain't all that bad. Especially sandwiched in between BEF->LIOG and Nancies->Warehouse, it keeps the energy going and has a solid sax solo and good horns section....just brutal lyrics.

This song will always hold a special place in my heart because when I heard it, and there weren't 3 mics on the side, I knew the ladies weren't there. I turned to my husband and screamed: the bitches are missing!!!!! then we high fived and went to get another beer because who wants to listen to that shit song????
