I'm lucky to get 140 characters out when Tweeting for Ants at shows. I'm not sure how one would get enough bandwidth to continuously stream video at a concert.

Might work at the tailgate though...

I give shits when people hold their giant phone up in front of my face and block my view. I can deal with it if it's just a pic, or even the dude that video records a whole song (in profile, of course). If someone is holding one up and shooting the whole show, that's going to be a problem for me.

Pretty cool advancement of streaming. I've been part of the social media industry for a couple of years now, and it's pretty wild to see how quickly users evolve. While Facebook was the clear cut leader when I started, there are so many other dark horses find unique ways to get in people's repertoires. Most of this has to do with the mobile and visual revolution. While Hyperlapse was neat, it proved to be a dud. The Facetime feature of Snapchat seemed like a good idea, but it's finicky and hasn't really taken off.

I think this could be a pretty big deal. There's going to be a lot of really cool content pushed out, from everyday users to celebrities to brands. From the brand perspective, this is a really unique to connect with audiences and brand loyalists that follow you.

Right now there is no way to do this other than searching Twitter itself for people's stream links, or stumbling upon streams in the "Watch" tab.

They're aware of the need though so it's coming.

This guy is great. He does this all the time as his job actually. He's got a press pass and everything. First time for him using an app like this to do it.

Let's just say a link to a stream is posted on a fan site of any band. If mgmt gets a hold of it, they have sent people into crowd on live video streams and have had them turn it off and escort streamer out. Or if it's audio, they have contacted whatever site the stream was on and tell that stream to shut it down. Does it happen? Yes. Does it happen all the time, no.

This app is real dumb. No need for it at all, just more clutter on the app store.

The app was fun to kill some time, stumbled across some cool things. The coolest being the bicycle tour of Paris some dude was doing and seeing Jimmy Fallon rehears his monologue.

Hoping for some cool features down the road though. My co-worker and I streamed some stuff at work but got bored with it after a few minutes. Had a lot of people from Sweden watching us.

Oh in not saying it won't be profitable. The creators aren't dumb. But the app is useless.
