Agreed. The best option is to always try to strike a balance between old and new. Obviously, you have to promote the new album. But don't completely overdo the new while ignoring the old. Decemberists sets tend to be under two hours, which is fine, because it's a hell of a time. But there are only so many songs they can fit in there.
As Tuesday was likely my only Decemberists show this tour, I'm happy with anything.
