Big fan-- they've got a special place in my heart.

Not gonna claim that there aren't breweries with a better, deeper catalogue of varying styles, cus there are. But some of those DFH beers are near and dear go-to's for me.

Love their labeling, bottles, everything about holding one of their beers makes me feel good.

If it's the only craft beer on tap, I'll get it. Other than that... pass.

I love Tilquin Gueuze and its readily available here.

Also consider me a backer of the Hop Hunter from Sierra Nevada. It's delicious.

My buddy doing his NE beer tour had a productive day. Picked up two cases of Heady this morning at one shop. Then went to Prohibition Pig and they just finished installing their Crowler system. Aren't selling to the public yet but my buddy talked them into giving him the first two crowlers off the line. He ale hit HF and bought a bunch of bottles.

He said that he has probably close to 300 bottles/cans in his car. He has an appt tomorrow to have a hitch installed on his new car and will be renting a trailer. And plans to go back to HF tomorrow.

Hunger Mountain COOP for the heady I'm guessing.

There is a video of Pro Pig using the crowler for the first time on their FB page, so that's awesome. I was there last Thursday and was talking to a bartender about it.

HF only has Dorothy Convivial, and Artic Saison right now, not their best line up, but still an awesome trip north. Ask him if he was listening to the radio up there. Greensboro is so far north a lot of the radio stations are in french from Montreal.

    "Anti-whales" I like that.

I'd say Yeti and it's variants. Readily available and not expensive though solid brews.

Also Odell Myrcenary, one of the best DIPA's out there.

Oh and this beer called Lagunitas Sucks

Rob... I am sure you met him.

He is having a great time. He got a lot of free beer from many breweries because he brought a bunch of local stuff like Upland Sours and random other things.

they were a good place for me to start, they have several solid beers, but my tastes in IPAs have changed and 60 and 90 minute dont do it for me.

I dearly love Festina Peche though and will drink it by the case during the summer. I'm also a fan of Aprihop.

Honestly if you do the research on the alchemist website, what days what places get Heady, it is very easy to find and in decent quantity. I think its more challenging around the major holidays and when HF has rarer beers available and a good growler fill lineup. That leads to more traffic in the better areas to find heady since HF is only open weds-sat.

While I do enjoy a HF beer from time to time I would much rather have Heady on the reg.

Good. I have enjoyed them all. My favs have been the Sabertooth and Live a rich life. Still have the war pigs left. I enjoyed ZD and would probably drink it on some type of a reg. basis if it was available around me, but think it's over rated for how sought after it is.
