No idea yet, but I'm guessing it'll be around the green area inside the race circuit, which is quite a walk from the Metro.

It's a shame it's not closer to the hairpin of the racetrack, which is 20 minutes from the subway. If it's closer to the start/finish line you're looking at an hour walk I'd guess.

Anywhere downtown will do - the Metro is pretty quick and it's easy to get to Jean Drapeau.

I can highly recommend going to Old Montreal for dinner, specifically to Modavie.
Ristorante Alpenhaus is also good if you love escargots, fondue and lamb or schnitzel, a real authentic Swiss restaurant.

Downtown you can find parking real easy, then just take the Metro across to the island. I wouldn't bother trying to park over at Jean Drapeau, that's usually a nightmare from what I recall.

Also, folks, despite this being GA it's Montreal...one of the LEAST ATTENDED places by diehard dmb fans so I really don't think this being GA will be anywhere near as bad as some of you think it might be. This isn't going to be like Central Park.

This was in the Warehouse's message re: extending ticket requests until tomorrow

" Members may request tickets to an unlimited number of summer tour shows and will also gain early entrance into the venues with general admission field (standing only) areas"...I wonder how early?

We are 12 days away from the sales of tickets to the general public and we still don't know much details.

It is not even listed on the promoter's official website: http://www.geg.ca/

Park Jean-Drapeau is spread amongst Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame islands.

I don't think it will be held on The Parterre of Île Sainte-Hélène because that one has a capacity of 70 000.

Might be on The Parterre of Île Notre-Dame but this one only welcomes 10 000.

Middle ground compromise would be The plaine des Jeux which is for 30 000.

And nobody seems to know either who is actually handling the sales of said tickets (geg site only? Admission?). I want tickets sooooo badly!!!!!

It is disgusting..I check GEG every day and am sad to see Disney on Ice up there, but no DMB..i want some details!

debating whether to request on WH or not... not 100% sure im going to be able to attend. i think it'll be easy to get tix on TM... but i like the idea of WH ticketholders getting in to all GA shows earlier than the public... just dont want to get stuck with the ticket if i cant go...

requested a single right before the deadline last night. tickets were really cheap for this show. so it was worth the risk. confirmation date one week away!!!!
