Not a local, but it would be the Memphis airport. The venue is about 15-20 miles south of Memphis.

Finally, having to head to work at least once a month to our distribution center in Southaven is going to pay off! Last time I was at Snowden I couldn't tell if it was all permanent seating up front or if there will be a pit. Also, does anyone know if the Big League Bar next door to Snowden got its liquor license back? I stopped going once they stopped serving whiskey.

This is gonna be a good spring semester, Lucero here in a couple of weeks, Murder By Death a couple of weeks after that, now a DMB show in-state. Some good shows coming up around the area. I'm pumped

Ive travelled all across the country to hear Dave.. The Gorge the last 4yrs in a row. Have zig zagged the country countless times for shows....Not only is he coming to my home town. Its litterally in my back yard. Im 200 yrds from the amplitheater in Southaven. With all that being said. There will be one hellacious party for all the ants.. Thank you Dave for letting me walk to see you this time!

Coming in from Florida for this show! Meeting a friend of mine who lives in Jackson MS and driving over....however, she.does.not.like.DMB.

But no worries...I've heard those words before and every time I take a non-DMB fan to a concert they are quickly converted..how can you not be? Best.Concert.Ever.

Funny story from Gexa in Dallas last year. We took our 10 year old son and sat in lawn. About thirty minutes after the sun goes down smoke fills the air. "Dad" "yeah son" "I feel like I wanna take a nap." "Ok, just lay down on the blanket and enjoy Dave." "ok." ......"Dad" "yeah son." "Can you go get me some nachos.". I am such a good father!

That was a good show.

I had a funny one in 2012 - in Louisville, when Jimi Thing was going into the Sexy Mothafucka outro, a few rows in front of us was a family - man/wife and two small kids - probably one was 5 and one was 7 if I had to guess, and I was sitting there watching them dancing while Dave was singing "Sexy mothafucka shakin' that assssss" and I was like uhhhhh is this okay? haha

I don't guess there are any local Ants that know of any hotels within walking distance to the amphitheater, are there?

Looks like plenty of stuff near I-55, but not having to drive after a show has some advantages. Not a big deal either way.

Still can't believe the band is doing these two shows. Southaven is basically in my backyard in Memphis at 30 min away and Birmingham is only 3 hours. Beats the hell out of driving to St. Louis/Atlanta/Noblesville like I've had to do the past few years. Not to mention both venues are close to half the size of the regular amphitheaters they play. Plus, get to see them ~2 months before the norm. And they're both weekend shows. Amazing.

Can't.....wait.....
