The way they describe it, it seems like it will stream for a set period of time over and over and then stop. They probably want to use it as an incentive for people to see Tin Tin so that's why they'll only stream it for so long but I could be absolutely wrong on this.

You know, I'm not angry or anything, but why do these studios unveil these massively hyped trailers on blogs or sites.that have no chance of handling the traffic? Makes them look terrible.

I don't know if it will beat Avatar but it should be close. It will have the advantage of having two chances to break it though and if you have read about the way this is being shot it could be better than Avatar's 3D

Can't believe I was in middle school when the LOTR films came out and when I read The Hobbit and the trilogy! Watching the trailer brought back memories. Ugh, a whole year though!

btw, I didn't know the overall story well enough to know if Bilbo & Gollum's encounter would be in the first or second film, but I guess the trailer answers that question.
