Got section 6, row D. Not super impressed, but better than having to deal with TM. Besides, as small as this place is, there're probably not any bad seats.

Where is everyone staying? I booked rooms at the Courtyard in Southaven, but am getting mixed reviews on that area. I choose it since it's less than 4 miles from the venue and I hate driving far after a show, but I may need to look elsewhere if it's a shady area or there are better spots to stay at.

I don't think the lawn is that bad actually. I haven't ever sat in the lawn at a DMB show but I've had lawn seats at this venue twice before.

Agree, them fucking criminals at stubhub and encore type sites are bullshit and need shut down. I was checking earlier in the week for the hell of it and they had shitloads of tickets up already for x5 face. That kind of shit needs to be shut down. It's like that for all shows and venues which is bs.

Can't help on lodging info, turning around after the show and heading back to NOLA. Planning on driving until I can't and getting a room somewhere in between.

If it was a few years ago, I'd probably join you guys in heading to NOLA right after the Southaven show, but I don't think I could manage doing something like that anymore.

The wife doesn't realize just yet, she'll probably be doing most of the drive back. She wasn't real keen on the idea of getting off the plane in NO at 10:30 in the morning and driving 6 hours to a show to start with. Wait until she finds out we're driving right back!!!

Maybe we should rent a big van in NO or see about setting up a charter bus. LOL There has to be a bunch of us planning to hit them both. humm

I've never been to this place. Whats the capacity? ... I've sat front row of lawn at alpine, it cant be as far from the stage as that was.

Amphitheater has 4,000 fixed seats in the lower part of the amphitheater bowl with additional capacity for up to 7,000 on an elevated, trimly kept lawn with a gentle slope of 7.5 degrees for optimal comfort and viewing.

I'm probably going to get lawn tickets for this one later on down the line, anyone think i should be worried about getting them? I just blew the bank on $80 reserved tickets to Pelham so i need some time to gain some funds back

Got tickets today. Not impressed with the way TM is set up. Finally got Section 6 Row N. Good enough. Especially for a venue this small. My friend said that there is no bad seats at Snowden. He's been to 5 shows there.

Haha well im driving to MS from Va beach, then down to NO. Gonna be alot of long hours in the car.

I'm a little surprised all of the lawn tickets went on the first day. Nice to see a little mid-south interest in DMB, even if we're talking a pretty small venue.

It's a small venue and a long time since DMB has been in this area.

You were very lucky to get Reserved, many were on at 10am sharp and by the time it processed only lawn was available.

Anybody who has been here... How is the parking? I looked at the venue on Google Maps and there doesn't seem to be a lot of parking around. I know its a small venue, but it will be filled to capacity.

That area is fine. All the hotels close to the venue will be at the I-55 exit, here is a listing of others in that area. Who told you it was shady?

Parking will be tight, but they do a good job getting people in and out.

Yeah that's true. Memphis never really gets a stop but i seriously can't believe 7000 lawn tickets went that quickly.

Last Memphis show was unbearable at the stadium. I think it was still 95 degrees at 11:30 when they got done with their set.

Thankfully, the average high in April is the same as the average low in August, which is when the '08 show was.

I think rain might be the biggest concern with the uncovered seating. Whatever the weather, I'm sure it'll be a good time.

Anyone interested in caravaning/convoy to NOLA after this show. Sister and i are doing a 36 hours trip from birminghan, al to Southaven, to Nola and back to B'ham.

I was on there at 10 a.m. Took until 10:30 to get a reserved seat. Ridiculous. Where do all of these seats go? Does Warehouse/StubHub buy this many tickets for each show?
