The chorus of Virginia in the rain is pretty good. I have only listened to that song a few times and I feel like the chorus of that song I have know my whole life Idk what that is.

MSG N2 in 2010 might be the best set (song choice wise) that the band has put together since 2008 or 2009.

Sweet Up and Down from 06/24/00 is a cool version. Not sure if there were technical difficulties, but the Carter solo along with Roi in the beginning is great.

I don't normally spend too much time comparing sets in general, but I had a bit of a running argument with another Ant regarding this show vs the one a week later - Cville N2 2010. I still think it is a fairly decent edge to Cville. As I recall, this MSG show had the bad Dave voice for a spell and the crowd took over the lyrics on a couple of songs. Maybe something also special about Everyday? And the aborted Christmas Song excitement. Anyway, both were good shows. |
