    I haven't heard anything. I hope they do something significantly different from Trouble Will Find Me. I don't know, I think the way that record was approached and mixed threw me off, personally. Also Matt's voice is different, which is only natural. Hopefully, they are hard at work!

    P.S. I got to meet Aaron and Scott at the Day of the Dead album release party which was at this brewery near me in Brooklyn. Awesome night. Sometimes Scott hangs there spinning vinyl, picking the tunes for the bar.

    It's insane to me how much Bryce and Aaron are involved in with other musicians. Randomly turned on Colbert the other night and randomly saw them guesting with Bob Weir.

    I'm pretty excited to hear a new National album, whenever it comes out. Not getting impatient, yet. I feel like they are digging pretty deep musically (just based on the amount of time it is taking), but the biggest uncertainty for me are the songs themselves, and whether they are going to be really good or just good.

    There was an instagram post last week on their Reddit page (that since has been removed) that said they were in the process of mixing the new album. I'm hoping for an announcement in March with lead single then full album will prob be June/July.

    A promo video of the Haven Festival in Denmark that takes place in August. This looks to be Bryce Dessner in the middle of the field... and towards the very end of the video it sounds like new Ntnl music. It's not a lot but it's something at least....

    Good stuff, both the video and the extended song clip. Cool to see the Dessner brothers (especially Aaron) always active in various projects. Day of the Dead, their orchestral work, now organizing their own music festival in Copenhagen. They are just as active in Europe now as the US, if not more so.
