Suicide Squad (2016)

It's official!

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansit...news/?a=111860

I love Will Smith as Deadshot and couldn't be happier with Jared Leto as The Joker.

I don't know what to say about Leto as Joker - I really don't know much about him and haven't seen him in much. Heath Ledger taught us that you can't judge a Joker actor based on past work, though - because he nailed that role.

I'm excited - I can't believe I live in a world where a Suicide Squad movie is happening.

So fucking pumped for this. Those rumors weren't kidding when they said WB was targeting some A-listers.

Gonna be a little weird to see Hardy in the DC Universe not as Bane. Would have been cool/interesting to recast him in the role just for the continuity nightmare it would have caused

Will Smith as Deadshot is an awesome choice. Hopefully this is more of a straight action film, I think the Suicide Squad is really more tailored for that type of movie. Also, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn

He's a great actor just like Heath was. One of those actors that doesn't take a lot of roles until the right one comes his way. Then he immerses himself in it. He's going to be great. If you want to see how great he is as an actor I can't suggest Dallas Buyers Club enough.

I'm really excited about Justice League Dark (http://screenrant.com/justice-league...ared-universe/)

I loved the Swamp Thing comics/show - and I'm really interested to see how he crosses over into modern cinema - hopefully he could get a spinoff, his story is very interesting.

He was pretty stellar in Requiem For a Dream as well

Agreed. Fourteen minutes in and I had to turn it off. I wish a guy like Sam Worthington would get a major role in a film like this.

    .
Like most people, I only saw this movie once, so I don't really remember it that well. However, I don't remember thinking Jai Courtney was that bad, it was Bruce Willis that I thought was awful. Maybe I was so focused on how bad he was that I didn't notice Courtney. That was one of Willis' worst performances ever.

Leto as joker is a great cast. If someone has to play joker Leto is a great choice.

I just hope he makes it his own and it's not a Heath rip off.

I'm going to go on a limb and say Jared Leto > Heath Ledger > Jack Nicholson when it comes to the Joker.

    Cesar Romero
    Heath Ledger
    Jack Nicholson

I don't know enough about this Jared Leto and have no idea what his Joker will be like so I can't really assign him a position in ranking.

It's been pretty awesome to gear up for Age of Ultron by watching all ten movies that proceed it. I am very much looking forward to the day I can do that with DC. Really anxious for a Flash and Green Lantern movie.

I saw a report that he'd be playing King Shark. I would love to see Killer Croc instead, though. Much more compelling character IMO.

You know, both would make sense now that I think about it. But I would agree about Killer Croc, and the link as noted with Batman can be part of the storyline as well.

Next year is going to be great. Batman v Superman in March, then 5 months later we get Suicide Squad. Can't wait, and I love the anticipation and build up for more news regarding both films.

Wow, this cast just keeps growing. Interested to see what Killer Croc is like on screen. I love The Dark Knight Trilogy, and they are my favorite Batman movies of all time, but I'm pretty psyched to see them dive a little deeper into the mythos and rogues. These movies will provide a more wide open space to explore the DC universe I think.
