think im going solo to this show...wondering if requesting in WH is even worth it. citi and ticket drops seems like it wont be that hard for a single GA....

I always go by myself to the shows (friends aren't DMB fans..fine with me) and I have never had a problem getting a single.

I go to 99% of shows by myself. Friends aren't fans either. I never have a problem getting a single.

I like not having to worry about anyone enjoying themselves. Also, when I go to Camden, I make a point to talk to the nearby security guys and let them know I am alone in case some drunk kid claims to be with me. It worked when in '08 some guy tried to push into the row, claimed he was with me and then swung around to argue with security and hit me in the face with his backpack.

He got thrown out.

there arent many things I will do or prefer to do by myself....going to dave shows is usually one of them.

theres only 1-2 other people that I enjoy going with that are friends, and they live in Tulsa, Ok.

they just booked their flight up for IZOD im stoked.

i like meeting new people and hang out with random fans, kinda adventurous and more fun that way.

Wow, actually convinced the wife to go premium! Hopefully that puts the odds in my favor. Seems worth it with the cool perks, limited edition fleece, tour passes, etc. Although no VIP parking for this, parking at the casino is free. Maybe they'll throw something else in! I'll be in line bright and early for this one. So pumped!

Good luck! I requested these packages this summer and got denied each and every time. As did my friend who is a WH 99 member. I don't think they offer that many of them, so you could be putting yourself at a disadvantage. I'm going with GA this time to increase my chances of getting tickets.

Put in for GA just to give myself a better shot at tickets, but man....I do NOT want the floor. If I get in the building I'll be a happy camper. Sat in the last row with my back against the wall for Rush and it was still unreal. The place is a postage stamp compared to other arenas.

Will be looking to trade for seats if I get floor

Is there an outdoor entrance to the arena? I feel like I know Mohegan Sun back to front, but I haven't seen much at the arena, so I only know of the entrances within the casino. Where are we going to be lining up for this? I plan on getting there bright and early and shoot for the rail, not sure how this is going to work.

Unrelated note, anyone going to the brewfest there this weekend? I'm going to the 12-4 session tomorrow.

No. The only entrance is inside the casino.

I have never been to a concert @ Mohegan but I have heard from multiple people the acoustics on the upper level is horrible. How this can be in such a small venue I am not sure but at least 3-4 people I know have commented.

they aren't that bad. It could be worse. I saw Fleetwood Mac there three years ago and sat as far away as possible and it sounded great.

i was supposed to work it for my internship, but i picked up a shift at my paid job instead.

So that Dayglow/Life in Color thing (the paint party) is in Hartford on the same day as this. Hopefully that means some of the typical college "Dave" fanbase will go there instead. Or am I giving Dayglow too much credit?

We went to Eddie Money last night at the Wolf Den, and found out Brewfest was yesterday. Looks like we missed out on the real event.
