I'm used to the big bugs . . what I hate more are the flies up north. Open the door for 2 seconds to go in/out and you end up with 10 of those fuckers in your house.

So what is Jacksonville like these days? It was a big armpit when I lived there. If I ever move back to FL, it will be much farther south, probably. Maybe the Keys, and live in one of those new houses that are engineered to withstand a hurricane and/or flood.

Yeah it still kinda is. They've been sucking my tax dollar for the last few years for this "Better Jacksonville Plan" that was suppose to be nearly complete for the Super Bowl, but it's still going on. It's not a bad city, but I think we are going to be moving in the next 5 years somewhere in the mountains.

We (my fiance and I) have an annual trip to the Keys with her family. I really like Key Largo because of the great diving and water sports. I go to Key West if I want to drink and eat!

I miss Florida a lot. I loved being there during my years at UCF. I have high hopes of transferring back to my favorite state. Now I am stuck in San Francisco where it never gets hot.
