    that's promising

    the 12 episode format is perfect after those 24 episode season, it was too much at the end

    I agree. I think the 12-ep format allows them more room for story developments, and we'll see less of the pointless subplots that never went anywhere that were a problem in the last few seasons. Seasons 1-5, all the subplots always tied together nicely. 6-8, a lot of them were just time filler.

    Yeah, it ended like 4 years ago, not much to spoil.

    Jack wanted to take out everyone involved with Renee's death and expose the coverups. Chloe talked him out of it then shot him. Chloe took the evidence from Jack and wanted to broadcast it. President Taylor and Former President Logan planned to have Jack taken out while being moved to a federal holding facility. Taylor saw a video Jack made for Kim and called the hit off. Taylor confessed her role and Chloe turned the drone off giving Jack time to run from US and Russian authorities.
