Although the lyrics were finished, that BS version of Raven sounds so muted in energy and passion to me compared to the LWS version so as much as I love the song itself and its live incarnations, the BS studio track can't get my vote.

Dive In is one of my fave tracks of BWGK, Nancies studio cut is also very good, but with #41 winning track 5 I can't imagine the segue into Say Goodbye being cut by any other track.

This. The segue from #41 to Say Goodbye is pure gold, plus it's my favorite out of all the rest. Almost went with Nancies.

Voted for Say Goodbye for the sole reason that #41 went before it. My answer would have been different had another song won.

The interplay between Boyd and roi on that bef is incredible. I never really liked say goodbye lyrically, it just seems shady and scummy to me.

I feel like Halloween is well-made but doesn't truly represent how propulsive the song can be in the live setting.

Say Goodbye comes pretty close to catching the energy of the live performance.

BEF and Raven are worthwhile, too.

I expected Say Goodbye to be the favorite here, but I can't imagine DMB without Dancing Nancies.

I would choose Say Goodbye because of the transition from #41...however...Big Eyed Fish could set up for the Bartender transition for the next track. I haven't looked at all the options for the next track, but I imagine Bartender will win.

I understand the segue aspect but nancies studio is definitely better. Although I'd take all the above over say goodbye other than the riff and smooth rider, other than what carter and roi brought to the song it does nothing for me.

Even without #41 winning, Say Bye has such a great intro and that awesome climactic ending leading into some of Dave's delicate falsetto, it's hardly surprising to see it get high numbers.
