they had me handing out stuff and collecting donations... it wasnt fun per say, but easily worth the price of the ticket. You work the length of time between the doors opening and DMB hitting the stage.

It can be hot, thats the only real downside.

Oooh, I am! I posted in the other thread about it, but it's more appropriate here.

St. Louis, Deer Creek N2, and both Alpines.

You get an all-access pass (doesn't include backstage) to sit anywhere in the venue. My friend Greg got me involved with this, and last year he joined my bestest and I in the lower pavilion at Alpine.

they give you a wristband when you volunteer that gets you into the 'warehouse preferred lawn section'. No physical ticket though.

You also get stickers and a shirt and some other goodies i think.

    Re: Reverb Volunteers

This was my confirmation e-mail, which is really all I know about it, besides what my buddy mentioned to me when he asked if I wanted to get involved (I'm ***ing out names).

    Hi There!

Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering with us on the upcoming DMB tour! I'm pleased to tell you that you, Heather, Kate, and Jeff are officially on our schedule to volunteer at the following show(s):
a.. 7/26 at 4:00 pm - Verizon Wireless Center - Noblesville, IN (you and Heather)
    b.. 8/9 & 8/10 at 4:00 pm - Alpine Valley (you and Heather)
c.. 8/30 at 4:00 pm - The Gorge (you and Jeff)
*.. 6/7 at 4:00 pm - Busch Stadium (Heather and Kate)

I'll be in touch about a week before each show to give you a confirmation sheet to print out and bring with you to the concert. The sheet will also have all of the information that you'll need for the night -- including the contact info for our on-tour coordinator ********where to meet him, how to get your passes, etc.

Thanks again so much for helping us with our greening efforts and I'll be back in touch soon. Until then, have a great summer!

    Cheers, **

I've volunteered a few times, most recently for Dead and Co last summer. It was a little different without an opener, so we sold water bottles during the first set and got to sit and watch the second set. Super easy, had a blast and met some nice people. Usually you only work during up to the main set.

One year for a winter DMB tour the GA seats were floor, which was a nice perk. Got in with plenty of time to see the band play their full set.
