This movie makes The Room look like Citizen Kane. It's breathtaking.

It wasn't written for adults, but I can imagine myself as a kid enjoying it. The Rock's character was pretty great. I enjoyed Lin Manuel-Miranda's songs and, surprisingly, the Flight of the Concords song (Shiny) somehow got stuck in my head for like 3 days. The animation was also incredible. It's quite astonishing how perfect computer animation has become.
I really enjoyed Moana and thought it was written with adults in mind as well. Disney has been hitting it out of the park with their recent computer animated features, Frozen, Wreck-It-Ralph and Zootopia were all very enjoyable.

Yeah, my daughter loves the Moana soundtrack. It's so cute listening to her sing along to "How Far I'll Go."

Same, but substitute Curious George 2 for Sleeping Beauty, or any Disney Princess movie. She recently saw the live action Scooby Doo and is pretty into that as well.

Yeah, after a while it gets pretty draining watching the same things over and over again. Of course, none of my suggestions are taken seriously by my three year old.

Moana was written for all ages, def.

You're Welcome is the best song in that movie.

Live action Scooby Doo was the shits outside of Matthew Lillard. Scooby Doo 2 might be in the running for top 10 worst sequels ever.

I can just imagine "Oh come on (insert child name), let's watch a GOOD movie like Juwanna Mann or Raging Bull instead!"

Live Action Scooby was not bad. Isla Fisher, Sarah Michelle Geller, Linda Cardellini, brought the heat for a kids movie.

10 Cloverfield Lane. Had some expected twists and some unexpected twists. Oddly paced movie. Good performances overall by the cast.

What We Do in the Shadows - 8/10 (Amazon Prime)

This came out in 2015. It's a fake docu-comedy about vampires living in modern times dealing with the problems of modern life. I thought it was pretty great. The dry humor was on point and there were a lot of creative jokes that landed well if you like dry humor. There isn't much of a story arch, but it was still very enjoyable. They progressed enough to keep things from feeling stale. It has one of the guys from Flight of the Concords in it if you're familiar with their style of humor. If you're looking for a light hearted comedy on the absurd side, then this fits the bill very well.

I enjoyed it but I agree about the pace being weird. The ending was pretty anti-climactic as well but overall the performances were good and it was interesting.

I really enjoyed the new Trolls, Smurfs and Moana. So far Moana being my favorite and my daughters favorite.

We haven't spun a soundtrack this much since Frozen.

Got this on my Firestick a few months ago. I feel like it could have been a coo movie but it just...didn't go anywhere. It really lost steam after the first hour or so. The final big battle was done well, though.

Win It All -- I really like the lead actor for some reason, but the writing in this was superficial and formulaic. The ending... give me a break.

Watched Split last night, wow...Shyamalan actually making a good movie again?

I had absolutely no idea about the ending, but recognized the music long before the percussion kicks in...such a great theme by JNH. After the credits started rolling I found out about the upcoming "Glass" slated for release on January 18th, 2019; absolutely psyched for this one and thrilled to read who is already cast in it. Nice.
