Virginia In The Rain Cover

Here is my attempt at Virginia In The Rain. This song is hard to play but I love it so it had to be done.

    Dude, this is fucking money. I can't wait to try this one. I can already tell I'm going to need a tab for some of the chorus at least haha, but looks like the rest is fairly simple. Great job.

    If you do a tutorial for it, you know we'd love it! Thanks for sharing!

    I'm on it. I've already started to learn how to play this. This is much easier since he is playing single notes (so I can slow it down and hear each one of them).

    Oh, also, he drops his B string to A (a full step down).

    I've got it down I think, but idk how to write out a tab to post. So I ask you haha.

    The final stretch is fairly tough in the verse on my acoustic haha

    Re: Virginia In The Rain Cover

    So far, I got the verse nailed down. I may not get to the rest until Monday (heading to six flags tomorrow for my B-Day).

    Here's the verse (along with fingerings):

    Code:
    Drop the B string to A

    Capo 3rd fret

    Verse
    e--0-- ------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0-
    A----- ------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0-
    G----- -----2----------2----------2----------2------
    D----- ---5----------4----------3----------2--------
    A----- -5----------5----------5----------5----------
    E----- ---------------------------------------------
    * = upstroke
    It's also OK to hit the G string during these upstrokes,
    since fretting it on the 2nd gives you an A note.

    This is a bit of a stretch, but is easier if you use
    these fingering:

    e--0-- ------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0-
    A----- ------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0------*0-*0-
    G----- -----1----------1----------1----------1------
    D----- ---4----------3----------2----------2--------
    A----- -3----------4----------4----------4----------
    E----- ---------------------------------------------
    1 = index
    2 = middle
    3 = ring
    4 = pinky
    0 = none

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been wanting to cover it for a while.

    I haven't forgotten about making a tutorial...just been very busy with other work and haven't touched my guitar all week!
