The video quality is fine for me. Wasn't expecting much more then that for an 02.

The angles they flimed at back in 2002 are actually better then the current angles they use IMO

Great version of DIDO. I think 2002 might be one of the best years for that song.

    ... I mean, wow

Dave's raw vocals are in prime passionate form for sure, but for me Carter makes this version truly great. His cymbal / kick fill at around 4:40 is so perfect-- the video pans to him and Stefan looking at each other and smiling recognizing that moment

That is an incredible version of Bartender IMO ...too bad it didn't make the cut over Everyday and Don't Drink The Water , still looks like a great bonus disk .

Definitely one of my favorite shows that I have attended....great release all around .

Will there be an option to get the DVD via download for those that don't have a DVD player?

Aspect is fine. Cannot wait to hear the audio on the blu-ray. That DIDO is sick.

You really don't have a DVD player? They're probably only like $30 now. How do you Redbox bro?

A quick google search brought up a $22.35 DVD player being offered by Walmart.

Watched the version of DIDO last night and then again before work this morning. It's absolutely sick. One of the best versions I've heard, in fact.

The crowds' energy is through the roof... and that's not something I normally take notice of because it's all about the accuracy of the music for me, but in this case I think that level of energy actually inspired the band's performance and took it to a whole 'nother level. Can't wait to see/hear the rest of the show!!!

Interesting. Crowd is something I always take notice of. In fact, I hate the live releases where you can't hear the crowd. I love hearing their reactions when song starts and hearing them sing in the background. I also love shots of the crowd (Central Park has some great shots). Of course, the music is most important, but for me, crowd can really make or break a show. And crowd is even more important when I'm actually at a show. That's one of the main reasons, in my opinion, that makes shows at SPAC, the Gorge, Alpine...etc so special.

    Perfect example: https://youtu.be/-IViaHv-ccQ?t=7m46s

I have a MacBook Air and a smart tv. My PS3 broke. I didn't think it was that unusual to not have a DVD player. I don't understand (aside from easier illegal downloading) why the band doesn't get with the times and just sell theirs DVDs on iTunes or something similar

Its pretty unusual to not have one device you can insert a DVD into.

Agreed. Can't stand it when you can't hear the crowd on the live release. One of the reasons I love the 6/25/08 Mansfield Two Step so much is because of the crowd (that and Tim's solo and Carter's playing is earth shattering). Between Tim, Carter and the crowd it's impossible not to get goosebumps.

    Band releases DVDs
fans: "Why won't they release Blu-Ray?"

    Band releases DVD/Blu-Ray
fans: "Why are they releasing video on physical media?"

I think we have to accept that no matter what the band does, fans will be unhappy

I have to agree big time with all the comments about the crowd. I made the mistake of taking in a Hollywood Bowl show in 2010. One of the nicest venues I've been to, yet the shittiest crowd of all time. I'm pretty sure I was the only person standing for sections around. Took away from the concert somewhat for sure

I think it's Dec 6th but the listing will say it under the extended product description.

Living in Europa, the question for the Blu-Ray Release:
    Is there a Region Code?
    Have somebody Information about it?

I would suggest emailing the warehouse or musictoday.

One would think they would have the appropriate ones knowing they have fans in europe, but you never know with them.
