Much bigger problems than Sanchez last night. Bradley Fletcher is not an NFL player. Cary Williams barely is.

It concerns me that after blowing coverage on the second Dez TD they still stuck with him. I can't imagine Carroll or Boykin could be any worse.

I actually think they will finally bench Fletch...Next week it will be Cary-Carroll-Boykin with Fletcher only playing in the Dime

Even if they do get help from Indy, they are just not good enough to compete with GB and Seattle. Hopefully with a solid draft (not blowing the first round pick), we can fill in the holes on defense.

This team doesn't deserve to make the playoffs. Sanchez and the secondary are abysmal.

As long as we start fresh with new faces on the defensive side of the ball and Foles can improve on his play this season we'll be right back in it next year, but good lord have these last three weeks been awful.

    this has been absolutely awful

and I peeked at my xmas present (wife got it on my amazon accoutn so i kept getting emails) and its an Eagles Mitchell and Ness hoodie. almost wish she'd return it ughhhh

seriously though...prob end 10-6, 20-12 in 2 ys with Vick, Foles, Barkley, and Sanchez. When you put it into that context, you gotta love what Chip is doing. There are things I don't like, but 20-12 after 2 years is pretty damn good. We really need to focus on the secondary, but it doesnt help that we're in QB purgatory

Fletcher and Allen are UFA after this year. That solves itself. We have Williams through next season and Jenkins for two more which I'm kind of okay with.

Luckily there are a decent number of good free agent corners coming on the market, as well as a handful of safeties. We absolutely need to sign a couple guys there - one longish term and the other short - and draft at both positions. The secondary is by far this team's biggest problem but it shouldn't be too hard to address. The front office needs to buck up - we were $20MM under the cap this season, which is inexcusable with the garbage they tossed out there.

Williams needs to be redesignated to the practice squad. Dude has way too big of a mouth for making few too many plays. Probably my least favorite Eagle

If we can bring in a legitimate starting corner, I dont mind dealing with Williams for another season..

Riley Cooper's overpaid ass needs to go though

Billy Davis was doing a great job at the beginning of the year...I just dont see how anyone thought it was a good idea to allow Fletcher to play man to man vs Nelson, Dez, and Desean.

ODB is going to rip us apart, and then we're gonna have to listen to KeithColdress's nonsense

Couldn't care less about the game Sunday. Honestly would rather lose and bump up one spot. There are a couple talented d-backs in this draft. There are some talented d-backs coming out so between that and free agency this shouldn't be the hardest area to get better at.

I just hope they play the young guys...

Marcus Smith should play a ton of snaps to see if he's worth a damn

Bradley Fletcher shouldnt even dress...let Watkins take Dime snaps while Carroll and Boykin play the majority of the starting reps

play Jordan Matthews on outside as well as the slot
give Huff all of Cooper's snaps

and play Barkley just for the shit of it

And some pretty impressive names too. Obviously they have to resign Maclin and Graham, but they're gonna have enough money to play with that there's no reason they can't pull a good corner and then draft another, plus a safety to learn under Jenkins.

I still believe we're pretty set otherwise. Foles will be back under center (maybe grab a guy like Hundley if he's available in the second or third round). The WR corps is strong, Shady and Sproles are still here, and Ertz is solid. The O and D lines are both fine.

Hundley won't last til the 2nd or 3rd I think they gotta reach and grab him in the first round. With Foles under contract next year for cheap you have the luxury of having Hundley sit for a bit and then once Foles gets hurt like he always does you play the kid. Fix the secondary via free agency and the draft. Keep in mind as average as Foles was this year he had a good record so it wouldn't be the worst thing possible.

I have not seen Hundley projected to go in the first round in any mock draft so far. With Foles CB/S is far more important right now.

in the grand scheme of things I still dont mind not having Desean....but they need to cut Riley Cooper's contract...he blows.

use that money to re-sign Boykin, Graham, Cox, or Maclin ( hopefully we keep them all ) and bring in a veteran free agent to take some WR snaps with Maclin, Matthews, and Huff.
