    granted I realize I wasn't exactly paying the closest attention to begin with, but it feels like it's practically been a whole week since both LCS's were clinched. like it seems ridiculous that WS game 1 still isn't even until tomorrow night. not that I'll be watching...

    they can't have any future series games scheduled until any possible game 7s would be over. they also like to add a couple extra days so both teams are fairly even strength as far as pitching goes and then have the games be played on certain days of the week. they can't help it if both series end quickly. it would be too hard logistically to move the games up. there's tens of thousands of people who in a very short period of time were able to make arrangements to go to the games. moving them, especially FORWARD, a few days would be a disaster for people who are going to reschedule, along with businesses like hotels and airlines.
