Whoever wins will be a first time champion, and I'd be fine with any of them winning although I think Harvick deserves it the most so that's who I'm pulling for.

It's still about points going into this race and at the end of the race, not just the top 4 finishers of the 8.

If he hadn't gotten past Kyle he would've tied in points with Gordon. Gordon would've gotten in by wins.

Smart move by Newman. Glad to see him in it.

when jackass wrecked gordon, it put gordon 10 pts behind newman. newman finished 9 spots behind gordon so he still had the points lead over gordon. bullshit that newman is in the final round after having 0 wins, only 4 top 5's, and 15 top 10's. gordon had 4 wins, 13 top 5's, and 21 top 10's. how the hell did newman even have enough points to make it into the playoff?

this is at least 2 championships gordon would have won had the point system stayed season long like it always was.
