LT will never have a better season than he did this year. I actually think it would be smart to lessen his load.

The last Super Bowl from the Noll era was 2 years before I was born. It's nice to throw out there against Patriots fans because the Steelers won 4 in the same run, but other than that they don't mean much to me.

You cannot be serious. I think he needs more touches, but only to keep LT fresh. LT took a lot of extra hits this year in pursuit of the TD record and trying to be NFL rushing leader, when the games were in hand.

He'll be a restricted free agent. If you put the top tender up for him, you'll keep him or get a first round draft pick.

That was a shame to see a good team go down and Marty's curse to continue. They should be just about as good next year though, so there is hope.

Yup, I think it's gotten to the point where the Marty ball curse is the issue.

I think LT was pissed about the way the Pats were celebrating on the field after the missed Kaeding FG, but I could be wrong.

Do you really think he should start over LT? I think he could be a starter a lot of places, but he's not LT.

Definitely, I'm sure someone will throw big money at him in unrestricted free agency. I just cannot see someone giving up a draft pick in order to get him this year, but I could be wrong.

Turner will be gone, but the Chargers should get a first round via unrestricted free agency. They need to sign Edwards and get a receiver that can catch.

As for the game, the worst desicion by the chargers was on the last drive after LT gets 6 on 1st down, they threw the ball twice in a row. Should have played Martyball and picked up that 1st down, chewed up some clock and drove for a score. Easier said than done I know, but I really think 2 runs by any of there backs could have gotten the first down. From there on, the clock would have been under 2. why have the mvp of the league and not use him at the most crucial time of the game? marty let his offensive coordinator call the end of the game when he should have.

Just wanted to pop in and say sorry for the loss, guys. That's a tough, tough loss after the killer season y'all had.

And also, not to be a bitch at all, but my GOD...as a Bears fan whose team is still in it, it's kind of a relief seeing you guys out of the race.

But awesome season. Have to admit I thought they'd take it.

Yeah, but at some point you have to take a step back and say to yourself that it's just a game. He should have been a better sport and congratulated the guys he knew on the Pats on the field after the game IMO.

In most cases it's not, but with LT it is. He was just frustrated and there's nothing wrong with it. He's one of the most humble men in the game. He celebrates touchdowns by shaking his hands with his teammates. No dancing around and that stuff. If I were an MVP and my season ended the way it did, I'd be angry.

I donno if this has been said, but there's one huge reason why san diego lost. On the 3rd and 13 when brady fumbled into the hands of his own guys making it liek 4th and 15 and the unecessary roughness penalty made it 1st down...that set up a field goal to make it like 14-13....it turned out to be huge. they would've punted without that penalty.
