Very solid! Luckily my wife loves BA stouts so I did a small blind taste test with that beer and a KBS. They were quite similar, KBS had just a bit more of a creamy mouthfeel. Which makes sense because the Ice Cream clone is a BA milk stout. Id defiantly drink that again!

I have a cold too, so much for drinking Parabola tomorrow hahaha.

I drink whiskey when I have a cold. No sense wasting good beer when I can't taste it.

I hear ya. I couldn't even taste food I was eating so I didn't want to waste a good beer by not getting all the flavor. I did crack open a Zombie Dust last night and my sense of smell was back, good lord that smelled magical! Got back into the grove in style.

Hopefully yours passes quickly, I battled this for almost a week.

Nice, I highly doubt that beer will ever be bottled again so I am glad you enjoyed it

Oh man...Madtree just changed Galaxy high to Citra high...early reviews say it's even better! Gonna have to stop by the brewery soon!

Amazing. MBB was delivered today on my doorstep. I was shocked. I figured there was zero chance Dave was sending to me. And of course he knocks it out of the park. Especially with the Almanac Dark Sour Pumpkin and #properglassware. Other beers here include:

    Russian River Consecration
    Bruery/Smog City Atomic Kangarue
Hangar 24 Local Fields Essence (DIPA with navel oranges, blood oranges, and grapefruit)
Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout

Really stoked for all of this Dave. Well done. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...e0a27ffabf.jpg

I've got some of the first couple years of the ba stout. I always find their beers thinner than the styles they are making. I never did try 16. And I'll probably regret it.

And for those within fff distribution. Majsgoop is hitting stores. It was solid back in July. I assume they made another batch.

Had some Sucaba on tap earlier, been a while since I've had it. Stuff is magical. I know people think parabola is their best beer, but I might like sucaba better. Then again, it's been a while since I've had parabola too...

    Nice haul!

I have always wanted to try that Belching Beaver. My wife's uncle brought me a shirt back from CA but drank all the beer he was supposed to give me, lol.

Glad you are pleased with my selections! There should have been 2 metal pieces of swag in there too, with one of them being quite special...

P.s. - I tried like hell for Grapefruit Sculpin but they must be in between batches. That Essence is pretty good and in the same ballpark.

Hung around for awhile after scoring our bottles and enjoyed a few of their brews outside on a picnic table. Loved the atmosphere there with plenty of seating outside, food trucks galore, and good music being played. As expected, their beer is fanatasic. I got to try the Farmhouse Pumpkin (very unique, but delicious!) and the Great Return (west coast style ipa that was outstanding!). Would have loved to have tried more, but had to make a 3 hour drive back to Maryland. I will most certainly make a trip back down there again sometime....would love to try the Gingerbread Stout, but I hear that release is absolutely insane!

great to hear you enjoyed it. sorry i didn't reply sooner on your other questions. left the country on business after my last post. They are canning great return so that is pretty easy to come by if you want more. yeah - the GBS release is completely ridiculous.
