well, gambling is illegal in Bushwood, sir. However, hypothetically I would do straight wagers. If I did a parlay (and I used to do 1 3-teamer a year in this thread), I'd only do something where the 2 were very different in times, and try for a middle on the 2nd game.
The idea behind wagering is to profit; not to break the bank. A noon- 730 parlay is a nice swing. Hit the 1st (hopefully), and on the 2nd, take the opposite team with a small bump in the line (say buy 1 pt at -120)
example - $10 par on noon game -3 and 730 game +6. noon hits. If you hit the 2nd game, you're +26. A hedge of -5 (opposite team) at $10 gets you either break even, or +$6. Obviously if you're betting more $$$ a game the profit is bigger. If the final total is 5 you're still +$26 with a push.
it's more profitable with a 3-teamer (2 noon's, one later). But obviously you have to hit the 2 for it to work. Then with 6-1 at play you can guarantee yourself a profit with an opposite play.
and again, kids... no teasers. they're called that for a reason. Teasers are the AOL of gambling. it's for suckers.
