As for vapors, I've only tried the pax brands but all in all I'm sure they are all similar. It's amazing, vaping.

I have had a Volcano (Digital) for about 5 years now and just got the PAX2 over the summer.

Both are incredible, and I often refer to my Pax2 as the portable Volcano. It has served me very well so far, it's pretty damn durable (I've dropped it a few times) and it has a 10 year warranty.

For me personally, I will take the taste and high of natural flower over concentrates any day, unless you have a really nice oil rig / dab rig. I rocked an atmos pen / e-pen all season last year on the slopes, and while it was very convenient, it gets gunked up very quick, and refilling wax or shatter while on a chair lift is NOT easy. (I guess dry herb wouldn't be either).

As for other vapes I have used or owned:

Some portable dildo looking one with a plastic tube (first vape, decent, nice battery)
Standalone similar to volcano, filled bags (friends in college, really good actually)
MFLB (good for lonely stoners only)
iPuff (cheap, but ok)
Pax1 (great, but the 2 is so much better)


I'm very excited to put the Pax 2 through the wringer above 9,000ft for 6 months, we'll see how she holds up.

Now if we can only get pow days on weekends. A foot of fresh snow is nice, but doesn't help me when I'm stuck in the office on Wednesday #jelly

But yea I've had Psoriasis for over a year now, and one of my worst spots is around certain fingernails, so I can't really cut them quite as short as some others do. I've had cracking and sometimes blood underneath there, it can be pretty painful and bothersome. Although, even besides that, I've never really been a fan of cutting fingernails super short, it can make them oversensitive and really uncomfortable. I honestly don't think I've ever gotten to a length where someone would like recoil after looking at me (well not for that reason, anyway )

Just that, if you go back thru my history since the first I've been posting in here about my new experiences over the last few months, it seemed abundantly clear to all the "pros" in here that I'd been getting kinda ripped off from the first guy who was hooking me up. Well, what you're referring to there however was from my 3rd (and still remains most recent) time overall, when I bought from the other coworker and where he DID give me more the proper amount for the money.

so I knocked over my bong (oil rig) last night and the downstem / female piece broke. Just kinda cracked down the side, I still have all the pieces and the main part of the pipe is fine.

It's a $400 pipe and I've only had it for 3 years. Is there a way to fix it?

a question occurred to me today, and probably one I should've asked about well before now. Can weed go bad? mind you, the entire time I've had it, it's been very well wrapped up. The first time I brought that first batch home (which I bought right around the beginning of August, and it's only been the most recent time I smoked -- about 2 weeks ago -- that I finally finished up all the bits from that one), just even to combat the smell I had the original baggies themselves it was wrapped in and stuffed them in like 5 other sandwich baggies, just one into another and so on. All them into one bigger baggie, and then THAT wrapped up in bubble wrap. But of course I've still got a fair amount left over from the 2nd and 3rd purchases.

Not really. Make sure it's in a seal bag (zip lock-like) and not just a rolled up plastic baggie. The less O2 it is exposed to the better. It'll lose it's potency and become dry but you will still get high from it..just won't be as nice as fresh bud.

I've had some friends have weed go moldy on them, but that's never happened to me.

Also, another good way to store your goodies is a mason jar.

I second the mason jar recommendation. Another thing is invest in some Tupperware. Can't break it and typically easier to store than Mason jars if you have multiple strains you wanna keep separate.

I've used tightvacs/coffeevac as they are even better than mason jars in terms of smell if you care about that.

Edit: I mean these things are pretty much smell proof if kept in good shape.

yep, definitely that. I mean the part where it's like 5 equal sized bags one just stuffed into another, I don't have each of those totally sealed along the way, but the bigger "freezer bag" one that holds all of them, I always zip that back up when I'm finished.

I mean it should definitely be somewhat brittle. I'd rather it be a tad dry than err on the side of not dry enough. Just gonna waste a lot of stuff if it's not dry enough.

I've smoked some dank moist bud in my day and some rough dry bud. I really think it depends heavily on the strain.

Obviously if it hasn't been cured correctly that is another story for another day. But, more often than not, I only judge bud off of previous bags of the same strain.

Blue Dream, Sour Diesel, Girl Scout Cookies, Green Crack, Maui Waui, Strawberry Cough, Purple Haze, Death Star, & Pineapple Express are the only strains i've ever gotten on a consistent basis that i've been able to accurately compare and contrast.

Probably a totally different story in Colorado/Wash/Cali where you can consistently buy and compare strains and know it is what the label says it is.

More often than not i'm buying stuff that is described as, 'got some crazy flame in, hmu'

Get what you pay for though. I get good ole fashioned no-name from my cousin and his buddy for 45 an 1/8/$90 a 1/4 or I can get verified colorado import strains from my other buddy who charges $60 an 1/8 or $100 a 1/4.

I'll take the $45 an 1/8 of ole no-name all day every day.

Dunno if it is just me smoking budget bud out of a one hitter, but I feel like I only get stoned for roughly 35 to 40 minutes at a time any more.

Typically I get MORE stoned if i smoke out of a bong or a blunt, but it still will only last 50 minutes to maybe an hour and 20. Back in the day I remember smoking a full blunt by myself and being ripped for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. I also remember my highs being way more intense.

I smoked 16 year old bud with my father in law the other weekend. Granted, we were already drunk on wine, but it definitely worked.
