Does anyone know if there is any lodging/camping still available anywhere near the venue? Thanks!

General admission camping is still available adjacent to the venue and will be all the way up until the weekend. You can purchase off the livenation website or at the gate.

Motel/Hotel is going to be harder to find, but you want to camp regardless.

Can anyone give their thoughts on the probability of scoring Gold or Premier camping at this point in the game (you know without giving money to scalpers)? Just curious if anyone knows of any secrets like they occasionally release passes so keep checking... My husband and I are driving in from CO and we aren't really "campers" so we are looking for something with maybe a little more amenities. We decided to go sort of spur of the moment so we are little behind the game. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and this thread in general.

Wait it out and watch the boards. They'll start popping up as the dates get closer and people start cancelling (or failing to finalize) their trips.

Watch the ticket forum on this site, the warehouse message boards, and check on cashortrade.org. In years past premier camping would pop up with some regularity, but this year with the break it's been a different story. On the gorge roster we have 31 first time attendee groups which is huge. For reference there are a total of 60 people/groups signed up on the roster in total. You're going to have to be diligent and check multiple times a day. As far as camping amenities go you're not physically getting anything better in Premier or Gold. You are parked in a grass field and set up camp adjacent to your vehicle. The upgrades for Premier are a fenced off campground, a shuttle, and free showers (you can still access showers in GA, but you pay for them). With gold you're closest to the venue, a larger camp site, and free coffee, but again still camping in a grass field. For me I'd make the trip regardless because it's the Gorge and if you score an upgraded camping pass then it's a bonus.

    'Premium' Grass Seats'

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how you can get tickets to the section of the grass in front of the fence? I remember hearing the last time I was at the Gorge that it was a different ticket you could get the day of the show. Anyone know how to get those?

    Thanks!

Do you mean the terraced lawn sections? They're first come first served.

I think the terrace steps were part of a roped off VIP section at the 2011 Caravan, but other than that, it's what eliz said; first ass on the grass.

Re: The Gorge Q&A and FAQs

First trip to the Gorge this summer! - I saw this posted in another forum but thought this would be a better place to ask since I am curious as well. Apologies if this has been asked here already.

Going to all three nights and trying to plan activities accordingly, and wondering if there is a general energy/song selection on any night in particular. For example I imagine that N3 will be the highest as it is the last night of the tour, the closing run and encore will most likely be better than the first two nights. And maybe N2 would be the slower of the three because it is bridging the opening night to N3 (or maybe it's the best of the three because it's Saturday night)

I know this is all subjective and no one has any idea what they will play - but wondering from any Gorge veterans if there is one night you look forward to more/less than the others

The Gorge has camping right on site the General camping area NEVER fills up they will find a spot for you a quick hint... dont buy the campsite ticket till you get to the gate it will be cheaper no convenience charge fees etc. On the first page there is a guide to the gorge in the first post check it out its helpful.

If the Star parking lot doesn't open until noon and the line to be "railed" starts earlier, what are the options? I'm not camping and lodging is in Moses Lake. This will be my first time at the Gorge and I have pit tickets for N2.

you could have someone drop you off, or i think you can pay like 10 bucks to park in the wildhorse overflow parking lot

i know at other venues they'll sometimes let you park if you're getting in line for rail, but i wouldn't bank on that

Overflow is 20 this year, but highly unlikely they have any spots left by Saturday.

Your best bet is having someone drop you off. Maybe you can makes friends with someone that wants to hit up Cave B and they'll give you a ride. George has a park and ride, but again by Saturday it will be full. If rail is truly that important to you buy a GA camping pass and head over early Saturday AM and park your car in the camping area.

You might want to post this in the pilgrimage to the gorge facebook group as well. I know it gets a lot of views.

You might also want to post this request in the Facebook group Pilgrimage to the Gorge. More folks will see your request.

Re: The Gorge Q&A and FAQs

Second year to The Gorge (and majorly/overly excited).
Thing is when the tickets went on public sale to TM/LN I felt as though it "sold out" within minutes - and I only acquired a three day lawn bundle.
However, yesterday TM/LN had a drop - and again, I was late to the game and only "scored" uppers.
I am hoping for lowers. And would just die for pits.
Last year I bought my tickets days before the show, and ended up with tickets in lowers on TM/LN. Granted they were the "obstructed view" tickets, but in my honest opinion they were amazing seats. I had never been closer to the stage.
Will this happen again? Will TM/LN have more drops the closer it gets to the event? Or am I out of luck because this is 25th anniversary/last tour for a year.
I'm dying. My heart is breaking. And I am literally obsessed with this.
    I need lowers.

Yes they will have more drops.

You're probably going to take a bath reselling those uppers/lawn if you do upgrade though. One should never panic and buy bad Gorge tickets early in/middle of the summer.

Is there anything specifically I should wait for? Will there be multiple more drops? Should I stop looking until the week before? Any tips/advice?

Don't stop looking. Check the boards and check TM/LN every day, multiple times a day, and just wait until you see something you want before you buy. If they do a slightly better uppers drop, let 'em float on by and wait for the next one(s).

Hi everyone...I'm thinking this is going to be a long shot.
My group just went down by 2 people. and there's 3 of us left. We have an HUGE RV(double slide out sleeps 8) rented from thursday til monday, and staying at wildhorse.

We're looking for 1 or 2 people who are cool, that would want to come and share our space and make the price more manageable for everyone.

Our group is 2 girls and 1 guy from NY all around 30 years old.
We'd want to do a skype chat to make sure we'd have a good rapport for the weekend.
    email me at rightcoatkyle11@gmail.com

And I'm not on other social media, so no fb dmb family that I can post on

Wow, sorry your crew backed out on you so late in the game, that sucks!!!

I would say your chances of finding people to share with you here on ants are slimmer than they would be on Facebook, but if you don't FB then you don't FB! There's a great FB group called Pilgrimage to the Gorge where a ton of people have connected for carpooling and camp sharing, so if you were ever considering looking on social media, that would be where I would recommend starting.

Maybe post in the main Gorge thread, you'll probably get a bit more exposure to lurkers in there!

Re: The Gorge Q&A and FAQs

First timer to the Gorge all the way from NC, been waiting a long time and am more excited everyday. I got Gold camping, but sort of wish I would have just done premier. In the 200 sections every night, just to give myself the option of heading back to the lawn. I'm only going with my to-be wife, it will be our 16th-18th shows in the last 7 years. (Struggle of being broke graduate students) I am hoping everyone is friendly like always, met some pretty cool people up in Charlottesville earlier this year.

Also, wanted to let people know some tickets in 201 are available for both Saturday and Sunday on TM/LN atm.

Pop in to the general Gorge thread and say Hi. Also be sure to sign up on the roster.
