The venue is in the southern suburbs surrounded by corporate buildings. There is an 11pm curfew that is strictly enforced. There is no dedicated venue parking except for a few small lots directly outside the venue making tailgating difficult. Parking is generally in the strip malls located one block south of the venue. The venue has no covered reserved seating and with the end of August there is always a chance of rain in Denver. The sound at the venue is sub-par, but the did some renovations last year and I haven't been back so this may have been corrected. I will be at both nights.

Bars: CB & Potts and Jackson's are the only 2 I'd recommend.
Take the light rail if you can as there is a stop as close to the venue as parking.

I'm really disappointed to see they are scheduled at Fiddler's Green! I've never heard anything good about the place.

Why not Red Rocks??? Does anyone know why they stopped playing there after, what, 2009?

I went to Zac Brown Band last year after the renovations at Fiddlers and was pleasantly surprised with the sound. We tailgaited in the RTD lot on the east side of the highway and it was a good time. It did rain a little but whatever. It is no Red Rocks by any means though.

Assuming I can get tickets I will be at both shows too!

Certainly a surprise to see this venue come up, but yeah not complaining as I don't have to travel now. Fiddlers is not great but still shows in Colorado.

My sister lives in Fort Collins. I've gone out there in late August each of the past 2 years and was planning to do the same this year. This couldn't have worked out better.

RR only holds 9000, compared to 18000 for FG. so that's an additional 9000 tickets per night. at call it $75 per ticket, that's and additional $1.35MM for a 2 night stand

ummmmmmmmmmm....maybe. I typically meet friends from CO and STL at Deer Creek. So there's a chance we'll change it up this year and head to CO instead.

Tickets should not be difficult to get for these shows considering the capacity. Actually surprised they are doing two nights after the crowds at DICKS. Out of state peeps be prepared on the Friday night show, traffic will be a mess to the venue.

Where did we see Fiddler's listed as the venue? I got scared and thought they were going to play The Gothic.

My suggestion for anyone coming from out of town will be to stay downtown and take the light rail. There is a stop a few blocks away from the venue.

The residence inn is crap, but the Wingate is pretty new. Both are super close the the venue. I suggest downtown because there will be more to do during the day.

After not getting close to selling out Dick's, we should at least be happy they are coming back. I live close to Fiddler's so eventhough its not the ideal place, we can still enjoy it in Colorado

It's not the worst hotel ever. Coworkers that stayed there for business said it was a bit dirty and I think it's just getting old. It's not where I recommend people stay when they are out here on business as there are better hotels north off the light rail. You won't hate it but it's not a dream hotel. Also, it's in a corporate park like the venue and about 20-30 min drive from anything you'd want to see. If you want to venture out during the day staying downtown will be the better option.

I agree with the above statements. This venue is far from great, but it will be more enjoyable than Dick's and allows a bigger crowd than RR. I work close by, so will be easily attending both shows. It's a great day for CO!!

Red rocks will probably never be played again. If they go it'll be a later career show or just Dave and Tim. It is a HUGE pain in the ass to get the equipment and stage set up. The venue size has nothing to do with it, they know they could book it for 3-4 nights and sell out.

What areas of downtown are good. I already booked at Hilton Garden Inn near the venue. I guess I could take the rail into town. Any good spots to hit up in downtown. Never been to to Denver.
