Sounds interesting.

It says close to the stage seating and food and drink tent. I wonder if that means free booze.

NYC public transportation, or transportation in general, is going to be rough. No subway runs to the island so you have to take the subway and then take a bus across. There is only limited parking on the island as well. Transportation is going to blow, just accept that now if you're planning on buying tickets. Also, let's hope that they keep the footbridge open. During the summer it says its usually only open til 8. It might actually be smarter to park in manhattan and then walk across the footbridge if thats an option.

For Warped Tour they set up shuttle buses to Randalls...from Long Island you take the LIRR to Woodside and thats where the shuttles are. I'm pretty sure they do it for special events...since this is an all day thing there should be a pretty mixed crowd going in...which is probably why they have it all day...because you go to see bands earlier or later you get there at dif times. Anyway, it should be okay

I can't say I know much about Warped Tour, but is there like one main band that perfoms at the end of the night? I would imagine that that will be the difference with DMB. Its not the getting in that will be difficult, but the getting out.

can't wait, best friend will be interning at a firm in manhattan for 6 months(leaving tommorow) and he assumes he'll be able to get good tix through the firm, seeing as how most of them are younger. Yankees also have a home series that weekend

2 things. one i call that robert randolph and the family band will definitely be there, they have been opening for dmb the past few summers, didn't last year cuz of clapton, and as of now don't have any summer tour plans yet so i could see that happening.

2, it says that the show is at 7 pm when requesting tickets, but the e-mail says show is all day, any idea what's going on? i would assume other bands are included in the price, otherwise that is just ridiculous, but who knows.

So for ticketing... do they sell you one ticket for both nights since it's a festival? Because I'm thinking about going for VIP so will it cost me $250 or $500 for both nights? If it's $500 I might have to rethink that.

I'm pretty sure it's $250 a night. If it were free booze that might be worth it.

CP VIP had an amazing BBQ with 3 types of beer and two types of wine, all you can drink. It is without a doubt worth it to do it one night, But 250 is a bit steep. I will do one night VIP, but 500 for the weekend is rough. I mean I paid 250 for CP because it was for charity there is no mention of charity, just a 250 dollar ticket...But one night is a given...
