If you think you make it to Manchester in time for kickoff, City play Liverpool. Probably the game of the weekend.
Other ideas for games to hit up in London:
EPL - Crystal Palace v Watford, West Ham v Leicester
Championship (2nd tier of English football) - Fulham v Wolverhampton, Queens Park Rangers v Rotherham

Outside of London:
EPL - Stoke v Chelsea

I arrive the day prior and am heading up to Stoke-On-Trent for Stoke City vs. Chelsea

Also realize that Premier League matches in the spring may still get moved around due to TV scheduling/International breaks.

Wife and I booked our trip in December I think and then about 2 weeks later they announced the international schedule in the spring and it was the weekend we were there. I lucked out and got to see England play and lucked out even harder with a charity match at Anfield but had it been an away international match and no charity match I would have been f'd.

Only matches that occur during internationals week are League One and Two I believe. The quality of play is lower, but I hear the support can be just as great if not better and the tickets are much easier (and cheaper) to come by.

Craig, it's unfortunately off. I have to be in Chicago that Friday and Saturday. I'm still planning to sail eastward and be in London for the Dave & Tim shows on Mon/Tue but no Chelsea/Stoke game for me.

Add in Arsenal and I agree. Though Arsenal will probably bottle it, they are only 3pts off the top so you can't count them out.

Agree with that. I think it will be incredibly close all season between those three with Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United battling for fourth.

Title credentials absolutely nailed down this morning. Chelsea were not good for much of that game and we walk out of Etihad 3-1 winners?!? Unbelievable.

Results like that seperate the men from the boys when it comes to title credentials. Peps beginning to realise that no one team walks the PL title and every week is a battle which is what seperates this league from any other in Europe. In other news, business resumed here in the Potteries.

Jose is the worst manager in the history of the EPL's Top clubs. United are just as bad as Chelsea were last year. He needs to be fired as soon as possible to salvage any of this season. I hate him so much.

Bob Bradley gets hired by Swansea, and not one mention in this thread. So I will post about the firing instead. Not sure how I feel about this one. Was it a case of Bradley being in over his head? Or inheriting a situation that he was never going to succeed in? You look at all the numbers and it shows a manager that tactically just could not get it sorted out with the team he had. But who is to say a more experienced manager could not take the same team and find the right combination to get points, not wins, but points to survive the drop. The pressures of the EPL and staying in the top flight are so immense they have swallowed better managers then Bradley. Just look at Pardew. The savior not 2 seasons ago at Selhurst Park, now out of work. Which makes you wonder if Pardew is the next manager in line for Swansea.

Is everyone back from holiday break? Chelsea finally deciding to have a bad game means one good thing...we have a great Premier League title race on our hands for the 2nd half of the season.

    FA Cup this weekend!

Unless Chelsea goes on a serious skid, or have a sudden onslaught of injuries, I don't see them losing the title. All the other teams in the chase are playing additional games. Only thing new on the fixture list for Chelsea will be the aforementioned FA Cup.

Tottenham were good value for the win. Derby game big atmosphere just a blip for Chelsea, like Ben says they really have it in their hands now.

I see what you guys are doing. The season is far from over. All it takes is one more weekend where Chelsea drop points and Liverpool/Tottenham/Arse/Citeh pick up points and things won't seem so locked up.

United have certainly been better of late. Unfortunately, poor form in the first part of the season is going to haunt them. I will be happy with just securing CL football for next season. I think the title is just a little too far out of reach.

Oh yeah, agree 100%. Just giving Chad a hard time seeing as Chelsea are in the drivers seat right now. As for United moving forward this season, they need to keep working for top 4 (going to be tough with at least 6 teams working for those spots). They also need to keep Europa as a priority as this may be how they get back in the UCL next season. The two domestic cups are always solid goals, however the focus IMO should be top 4 and Europa.

Costa dropped for the weekend, so maybe Chad was on to something. Then again, on Boxing Day, Chelsea won 3-0 when Costa was suspended.
