Fantasy Football 2016: Talk, Advice, & Start 'em, Sit 'em

It's June! Time for the above average players to get started. I started drafting MFL10 teams in Feb, 17 teams drafted already.

Here is the current mfl10 top 12 adp.

Antonio Brown
Odell Beckham
Julio Jones
Le'Veon Bell
DeAndre Hopkins
Todd Gurley
Ezekiel Elliott
David Johnson
AJ Green
Dez Bryant
Rob Gronkowski
Allen Robinson

I've been grabbing Lamar Miller at the turn when I draft there. Lacy has been falling to round 3. Fleener has been going early 7th, as a top 5 tight end. QB's have been dropping, Cam is usually the first one off the board in the mid 3rd - 4th.
Some mid - late rounders I've been targeting include Torrey Smith, Chris Hogan, CJ Spiller, Victor Cruz, DeAndre Smelter, Kenny Bell.

Before the NFL draft I was getting Elliott in the 3rd round. Haven't drafted him since.

Anybody want to join an MFL10? $10. No in season management. It will optimize your lineup every week. http://www54.myfantasyleague.com/2016/public#0

has anyone been using NFL.com for a few years? Is there a way to view past season rosters? im trying to determine our keepers (cant pick a player from the first two rounds), but can't find last year's rosters anywhere.

    anyone know?

I have, and there is a way, but I think your current year league has to be active first.

Well crap. That doesn't help me now because i need keepers before the draft. And I don't remember last year's draft order .

First pick in a 10 team, PPR, 2-QB league. Do I go with Cam or Rodgers because of the 2-QB thing or stick with Brown?

In a 2-QB League I've always taken a QB first, getting at least 1 top guy has been crucial. With Brown in a PPR I don't think you can go wrong here really but if it were me I'd take Cam.

Foster is all about where you can get him. He'll probably be over drafted due to name recognition and history but if he falls enough I'd take a gamble on him.

No, not top 10. Maybe an rb3. I think Ajayi will still get his share and will be ranked in the same range. As we get into training camp we'll have a better idea of the situation, but as of now I wouldn't draft him as a starter. Just last week I was able to get him somewhere in rounds 10-13 in mfl10s as an rb4-5. Now he'll probably creep into the 5-7 range.

Anquan Boldin is another guy you can get real late right now in mfl10s. Ive drafted him in the 20th round as a wr7/8. As soon as he signs he'll probably jump to wr4/5 if its a decent situation.

Washington should sign an rb soon. I don't see Matt Jones carrying that load. Maybe someone like Joique Bell or Pierre Thomas will be signed to come in and muddle up the backfield.

    .
Have A Brown, Gronk, Hopkins and Robinson w/ landry in 1 league that I won the title. Can only keep 3. Been pushing to change it to 4 but vote failed.

Throwing back Hopkins, a 2nd rounder and Landry since A Robinson was a 9th rounder.

    Can't wait.

I have a league that does defensive players. I think our draft is like 24 rounds or something.

Cant believe football season is already creeping up.

In my keeper league the rules are strange so I won't get into it. That being said do you guys think it's worth trading the first pick of the 5th round for a later 8th round pick and Doug Martin or Thomas Rawls or just sit with either Demaryius Thomas or Russel Wilson. Right now my other keeper is Devonta Freeman and I have 1st pick after each team's 2 keepers are announced in a 14 team league. Likely looking at Ezekial Elliot as the first pick.

A lot of the high stakes drafts go 28 rounds. Charcandrick West was actually drafted in the 28th round of my draftmasters league in the Ky fantasy football state championship league last year. The only reason he was drafted was because the guy who picked him has a podcast that Charcandrick appeared on a couple years back.

Id probably just keep D Thomas. Starting out with Zeke, Freeman and Thomas is pretty solid. I think that trio is better than one containing Martin or Rawls. Plus you'll still have your early 5th round pick.

I would agree. Martin is injury prone, and prone to just disappear for weeks at a time.

    keeper question

no keepers from first two rounds. with that being said, are keepers based on the team you drafted or the team you ended up with?

for instance i drafted AP. but i traded him midway through season. so to the guy who got AP, can he keep him since he technically didnt draft him?

no keepers from first two rounds. with that being said, are keepers based on the team you drafted or the team you ended up with?

for instance i drafted AP. but i traded him midway through season. so to the guy who got AP, can he keep him since he technically didnt draft him?
In our league all players retain their original draft position so if AP was drafted 1st round and traded he'd still be considered 1st round.
