My wife and I are in Charlottesville for the weekend... We plan on going to Millers for lunch today and tomorrow we are going to Blenheim Vineyards. Butch Taylor is playing at Blenheim tomorrow...

Anything else dmb related worth seeing??

I think there is a map that someone made of all the DMB spots to go to. I don't remember the website, but i'm fairly sure that someone here has it.

Great, thanks guys... Visited millers yesterday. Today I am gonna swing by the Warehouse and then head to Blenheim. Butch is playing there from 3-5 with the band Robert Jospé Express. I wanna ask him exactly why he left dmb... I always heard his wife gave him the ultimatum "It's me or the band"

Met and chatted with Butch... I told him my grand piano wouldn't fit in my car so I had him autograph my guitar. I didn't ask him why he left the but he did talk about Leroi and the Jazz sound they both brought. He also talked about Central Park and that he was glad the stage lights were so bright that he couldn't see the massive crowd. Super nice guy.

Sounds like the OP's trip was over, but anybody else reading this who goes to Cville needs to check out Three Notch'd Brewing. Great place with great beer!

you had the perfect opportunity after shooting the shit for a minute to throw out there, who come you haven't toured with the band in a while?

Glad you had a good time though, sounds like it was enjoyable all around
